Unusual weird tempo for Messiah. I already had a partial copy of a London Philharmonic Messiah, and loved it, but it was incomplete with songs not labeled properly. I got this copy but songs are sung to a weird tempo and cadence. This is so distracting that I will not listen again. So sorry that I thought it was the same rendition as is traditionally sung.
Wonderful Collection. This has to be one of my favorite works from Handel. I highly recommend this album.
Lovely recording!. I fell in love with this masterpiece all over again during the holidays. It’s great all year round!
