Wonderful. Another Alexandre Desplat score which deserves an Oscar Nom. I haven’t seen the film (so can’t comment on the score in context) but have read the script and this fits the mood - emotionally and action-wise. The fast piano cue (sorry don’t know the lingo) is perfect for a movie 'about computers’ that is set 50+ years ago. And the orchestra comes in beautifully in the emotional moments. Highly recommended.

So moving. Alexandre Desalt does it again. A beautifully written score that evokes all the right emotions. It really shaped the movie and tone very well.

Absolutely Brilliant. Desplat strikes again. The Imitation Game was an amazing movie, with brilliant acting and an equally fantastic soundtrack. If there was ever a doubt that music could portray emotions, this score destroyed it. Really, really great.

Alexandre Desplat is really a God.. He started off the year, with a very catchy soundtrack The Monument's Men, which I own on CD. It's a theme that is able to be whistled, which can be quite rare for recent movie scores. After The Monument's Men he worked on The Grand Budapest Hotel, which was very catchy in that it was music that was peculiar, but fit well with the picture. Also have picked up this CD. When The Grand Budapest was done and finished, out came Godzilla, one of his scores that really stood out to me this year. It is epic, scary, and ominous. A wonderful score in that it really fits well into the film. Imagine Godzilla going Back to the Ocean without any music playing. It would be nothing. It would be empty. Also own this on CD :) Finally, this score came out, which has really caught my eye based on the review below. I love fast piano music, such as E.T.'s End Credits. And this has to be exactly what I have been searching for. It seems like a beautiful score. Ordered the CD after I heard the Main Theme here on iTunes. Cannot wait to see the film, love who's in it. Great actor in my opinion. I don't usually write up a review for soundtracks, but I felt like this one was a necessity. I urge you to at LEAST listen to the samples. You'll thank me later :)

THE BEST MOVIE & SOUNDTRACK EVER!. This is, by far, one of my favorite movie soundtracks ever (besides Pirates of the Caribbean & Harry Potter, the last of which was also written by Alexandre Desplat). It fits so well with the movie's theme, and every time I hear it, it brings me back to some of those intense scenes. This is definitely worth buying!
