Not her best but not as bad as people are saying.. I like most tracks on this cd but the background voices are terrible and the mixture of synthetic and real instruments is awful. Her singing... She's in her 70's and you can hear it compared to her older classics but, it isn't bad. I saw her in concert this summer and she still sounds great, this album really doesn't do her justice. Auto tune needs to die. That can be the reason for a lot of it.

Aretha. If I knew where I could purchase this album I would. Love you Queen of Soul!

The Engineering.... The engineering left much to be desired. It just didn't fit well with the voice. Even a little reverb on her voice to give it a "Hall effect" would have made a tremendous effect. Otherwise, a solid album with solid vocals.

The song choices. I was hoping that Clive and Aretha would have choosen other female artist songs to cover. Most of the selcetion is ok but some I would have rather not heard Aretha cover. For example there are a few songs on this album that Aretha has already covered some years ago not to long after they were released. I am also surprised Aretha didn't cover I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston. She has sung it so many times since Whitney passed it just seemed like it would make since for her to do so on this album. As far as the auto tune, to me Aretha is just keeping up with the times.

Woeful. Shame on you Clive D for putting Ms Aretha through such torture. This is BAAAADDD from start to finish. Can't believe this has seen the light of day. Aretha luvvy retire with some dignity and leave the singing to the young ones who can MOAN !!!!

Oh no Aretha!. This woman will always have a place in my heart. But, Aretha your voice is awful these days if this album is anything to go by. Give it away, let us remember the good times.

Not the Aretha we know. Not the Aretha we know and love. Badly produced! Whom ever produced this album has no idea- the sound is awful! It's like a really bad Karaoke mix. Aretha has done covers before which have been amazing, however this album seems like it has been rushed- bad synthetic instruments, bad choice of lyrical adaptation ...overall bad...and that's very disappointing as I love Aretha.
