Great "chill-out" Christmas Album!. This is a great album to listen to when the Christmas season has you beat down! It's peaceful and calming and at times dark and dramatic. It is just so nice to listen to when you want to chill out and at the same time "feel" the calm of Christmas.
An excellent choice.... As is the common theme for this album review, I first heard of Paul Cardall while listening to Pandora. This album is a breath of fresh air from the typical Christmas albums that are popular today. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing album with a reverent approach to the Christmas season.
A Treasured Pandora Find!. Like another listener, I discovered Paul Cardall on Pandora as well, around Christmastime. "We Three Kings" was playing. I heard a cello and had to stop what I was doing to listen. It brought tears to my eyes, it was THAT beautiful. Soon after, I previewed the songs on iTunes. It was unlike any instrumental Christmas music I'd ever heard. Each song is carefully and respectfully rendered. Exquisite and haunting all at once. I bought the entire album. I'll be listening to it throughout the year.
Thank you Pandora. Found this while listening to Pandora. I am a cellist and this is exactly what I was looking for. LOVE IT!!!
Amazing. This was a very peacefull Album to listen to during Christmas. I loved listening to it over and over again. I still listen to it once in a while, even if it is not Christmas time. This is one of my favorite Albums by Paul Cardall.
