dig dig dig.... I have been on a endless quest for that masterpiece of masterpieces of IDM. That perfectly tight composition of minimal beats with vocals. Being that there is no 'perfect' album out there my search is invariably flawed; yet I do come across weekly infatuations and obsessive albums that sit in my prime spot for a bit, inspiring my artwork and giving me happiness; well there it is.

Amazing Micro-Electro-Pop. I never really checked it out untill I saw them open up for Mouse on Mars. I already had so many other groups I was getting into at the time that I never really gave these guys a chance. I was absolutely blown away by there live sound, enough to go purchase the album at the booth behind me. Very smooth, sexual, and sopihisticated sounding.

Masterful. Take an evening drive by yourself and listen to the album's title track, "Last Exit". Be sure to have the bass up and the volume at a comfortably loud level. If you don't find the resonant empty space hauntingly beautiful (Wilco accomplished a similar feat on YHF) then you are not ready for the Junior Boys.
