FFX - Piano Collections. Out of all the Piano Collections that are available from the Final Fantasy OSTs, the FFX Collection is my personal favorite. Though its OST is not my top ranked, the composition, when transposed into a piano score, seems to capture an entirely different side to the music, a little more laid back but at the same time gets the point across. I can lend this album to people who have never heard of Final Fantasy and they love it due to the in depth and captivating musical performance. I recommend this to all fans of piano, not just the series itself!

It makes me sad.. After listening to the songs from the game it brings back the memories of playing this amazing title. When I hear the songs (Tidus's Theme and Zanarkand most evident) I feel a strange sense of emotion. Not only is it absolutly wonderful the price is amazing. Most places I see this album online it's in the 30-50 dollar price range. Good job ITUNES and keep up the good work. This is a must buy 10/5.

AMAZING!. I absolutely love this album, I would recommend this to anyone who plays the piano and/or played FFX. This is amazing music from an amazing composer.

Fantastic Album, though credit should not only be given to Uematsu.... Uematsu is a fantastic composer, but when it comes to the piano arrangement albums, a lot of credit needs to go to the arrangers themselves. In the case of this album, Masashi Hamauzu is the main arranger of the piano collection, which isn't too hard to guess when most of the tracks that are on here are either originally composed by Uematsu, or Hamauzu himself. Hamauzu's influence results in an album that has the sensibility that he can pass through to the listener, using a rich harmonic language, and strong motivic development to make the works not only translate well to the piano, but become their own, highly technical works that can stand on their own. This is a fantastic album for anyone who is a fan of Uematsu or Hamauzu's work, or anyone who is simply a fan of extremely well written, well performed piano music.

simply...amazing.. Playing FFX, i noticed several background tunes that were very catchy. When I realized i might be able to listen to these pieces outside of the game, I was suprised. This is by far one of the best piano works i have ever heard. Uematsu's ability to fuse classical style music with a variety of jazz chords and syncopation is remarkable to the ear. The obvious influence from artists such as Vince Guaraldi is apparent in songs such as "Besaid" and "Guadosalem." Sort of a mellow, yet with an upbeat vibe. 5 stars across the board.
