Perhaps he can't carry a tune anymore. Please release the originals. I'm not paying anything for this. This also is all you get from other sources as well so Mr. Goldsboro is controlling his music

Not even close!. After reading the other reviews I tend to agree. These are NOT Bobby Goldsboro's originals,but cheap imitations. Do not waste your money as I think that ITunes missed the boat on these fine classics. "Honey" and "Summer the first time" are my favorites from Bobby and these listed here as "re-mastered" are not Worth 5 cents let-alone $.99. No stars.

Good Music - Bad Production. I was actaully named for one of his songs, so I do have a soft spot for his music. Although I can't recommend this set. It has been reworked compared to the orginal studio cuts. These are softer and more "Disney-esque". The music though does stand up though and is still good years later. Bobby is credited with some of the softer more songwriter style hits of his day. Let's hope they bring the orginals on soon.

I Don't THINK So!. Okay, I'm NOT the World's Biggest Bobby Goldsboro fan. In fact, it's tough to listen to most of the songs here without the experience setting my teeth on edge. However, there was at least ONE of his songs from my youth that I could play until the grooves wore out of the 45 single, and that was "Muddy Mississippi Line." The easy, laid-back sound of his voice over that wicked-sharp Muscle Shoals-style horn section just did something to my ears that I couldn't get enough of. So I just want to warn all you fans of the song or just true-blue Bobby fans in general - if you want the original version, STAY AWAY from this one!!!
