21. Funny that there are only 20 written reviews for this "masterpiece". This album was he soundtrack to a lot of my formative years. I believe I first found Gibby on "Jesus built my hot rod", then traced the short path back to Butthole Surfers. To me, this album exemplifies the surf/skate/drug culture of the early 90's. Naturally, it doesn't take itself at all seriously, something sorely missing from music (and our society) ever since. It has muscle in its own unique way. It blends punk with "grunge" or sludge. And while the band plays within some boundaries for the first time, this is a good thing for the new or more casual listener. This album will forever be me, about 15 years old, summertime at the beach, few clothes, surfing all day, getting baked with some kids from Ohio and squirting visine in your eyes and trying to play it cool when going out to dinner with your dad. Later, finding a big bonfire and partying on the beach. You wake up the next morning and do it all again because you're young. It only comes around once.
