Gotta stop the "country rap”, man.. I love love love Jake Owen’s “Starting With Me” album. The man can sing and he can sing well. But this whole country rap stuff has GOT TO GO. I had such higher hopes for this album. “What We Ain’t Got” is an awesome song though :)

Owen's Best Yet. If "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" was good, "Days of Gold" is great. Some rockin' tunes and a few nice ballads, too. No onder Jake's star is rising quickly in Nashville. A slick effort produced by Joey Moi (who also made Florida Georgia Line sound damn good) with the title track, plus "Beachin'" and "Ghost Town" amongst the best. "Drivin' All Night" is worth a listen, too. Great album!
