Lost Soul is a really underated death metal band. they are extremely fast and can have some cool rythm to their songs too. this band is extremely quite in the death metal world. and i dont get why, the vocals are different and so is the sound of the guitar, but it all is still traditional death metal. its perfect... im trying to get your publicity up! great band, cant wait for a new cd for them to come out with.

Brilliant. First I would like to say that this is a highly underrated Death Metal band, and I can't understand why. This band has exactly all the elements of an amazing Death Metal group, flawless drums, crushing and technical guitars, brutal vocals, and fat, chunky bass. This album was just astonishing when I first listened to it. It's very diverse and never gets the least bit boring. Mortal Cage is an absoloutly awsome song, and probably the most melodic on the album, and Christian Meat is a long, droning slow jam that still keeps my attention. All the solos on this record are wicked sick, these guys definatly have the chops. I just can't understand why they are so unpopular. This is a DEFINATE reccomendation from a TRUE death metalhead. Unusually Enticing. Usually, most death metal bores me. Yeah, its fast, yeah, its techincal and rhythmic, but I never considered myself a fan of it. This "wall of sound" everyone says is "brutal" is, to me at least, a mediocre experience. Lost Soul is one of those bands that retains a certain quality that makes them sound fresh. Most of the time, one of the main things I look forward to in Death Metal are the lacerating solos that deviate from the crushing guitar riffs, and just from "The Word of Sin", it failed to disappoint me. The sound production helped as well - instead of the deafening "wall of sound" as I've mentioned before, they manage a clear production for everything while still retaining the death-metal brutality (trust me, there's alot of this here.) All instruments are played with extreme technicality, death growls are perfection, and overall, a great album. This is coming from a non-death metal fan, Lost Soul is one of the most underrated out there, and you're missing on something if you don't try it out.
