King of Hollywood by Eagles Song Lyrics

Well, he sits up there on his leatherette
Looks through pictures of the ones that he hasn't had yet
When he thinks he wants a closer look
He gets out his little black telephone book

(He's calling, calling, calling)
(He's calling, calling, calling)

(He's calling, calling, calling)
(He's calling)

Come sit down here beside me honey
Let's have a little heart to heart

A Pure Classic !!. Great sound production on this album. A Pure Gem. A mixture of all the music styles of the Eagles in one album. A Must Have !!!

Not as great as their previous albums. I didn't think this album was as great as their previous albums (I've thought the band's heyday ended right at Hotel California), it does have strong classic tunes like the title track, "I Can't Tell You Why", "Those Shoes", "In The City" and "The Sad Cafe yet it also has a few clunkers like "The Disco Strangler", "Teenage Jail" and "Greeks Don't Want No Freaks", for some reason I've never thought "Heartache Tonight" was that great of a song despite it being their final #1 hit, I've thought the title track and "I Can't Tell You Why" were stronger singles that were more deserving of being a #1 hit.

One of The Best Eagles Albums. With great songs like Heartache Tonight and In The City just make this album a must have for any classic rock or Eagles fan. I love it!!!!

.... I AM THE BIGGEST EAGLES FAN IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.#HEARTACHETONIGHT

A Long Classic Run. There's so much to love about this album, even though the material reveals as much the dark side of what the Eagles had become. They had each slipped into the dark side of fame, and this album holds a testament to that journey as it does chronicle the end of a rich decade it had been for them as a group. The music is haunting with rich detail about their lives and the swirling decadence around them. Songs such as 'The Long Run', 'In The City', and 'The Sad Cafe'. Some would say the album's one savior is 'I Can't Tell You Why', which sort of brings to memory the group's excellent times, but still I hold the album a classic. One for the long road ahead.

Their Best. Most people would rate Hotel California over The Long Run. The former is a true classic but in my opinion this tops Hotel California. The best reason to support this comments is the amount of times I play is compared to Hotel. Every song is a classic. The Sad Cafe, Disco Strangler and King of Hollywood are gems but not the singles. Awesome!

The best easy listening.. My favourite artists list starts with the eagles in first place! Awesome.
