Not as good as the stage show. I saw the film first and when I heard the album of the great stage version I kept asking "Why wasn't this is the film?". The Broadway is so much smarter and the idea of having this show be about the songwriters and the ever fabulous Conrad Birdie, who is relagated to a supporting role in the show sporting his name, is waaay more interesting. Even worse is Ann Margaret's performance hasn't aged well. Get the Broaway cast recording. You won't regret it.

One of my favorite musicals of all time. There are very few movies that will stop me in my tracks…this is one of the top 3…I've been looking for the movie soundtrack for close to a decade now and it's FINALLY HERE!!! THANK YOU!!!!
