Electric Eye Song Lyrics

Electric Eye by As I Lay Dying Song Lyrics

[originally by Judas Priest]
Up here in space
I'm looking down on you.
My lasers trace
Everything you do.

You think you've private lives

Think nothing of the kind.

There is no true escape

I'm watching all the time.

I'm made of metal

My circuits gleam.

I am perpetual

I keep the country clean.

I'm elected electric spy

I protected electric eye.

Always in focus

You can't feel my stare.

I zoom into you

You don't know I'm there.

I take a pride in probing all your secret moves

My tearless retina takes pictures that can prove.

Electric eye, in the sky

Feel my stare, always there

's nothing you can do about it.

Develop and expose

I feed upon your every thought

And so my power grows.

Protected. Detect

First 3 and that's it. The first 3 songs are brilliant and than the rest is crap. I would recommend just buying the first 3 songs and forget the rest. Amazing band otherwise minus the whole "Christian" metal part religion shouldn't mix with music nonetheless metal.

Surprised. I love Metal and I love As I Lay Dying!!! I know that this new album is more of an experiment and something fun rather than their next serious album, but I still think it is awesome! I wish they would do a full album of metal covers and a full album of metal, industrial, drum and bass, dubstep all wraped up together. Although I am a true metal Head, I love all music and I think this new one is great.

Dubstep??. Great album but whats with the dubstep? Disappointed on that.. but the rest of the songs are great, I just dont get the dubstep part. Come on guys you ARE better then that!

meh titles. Judas priest covers and lots of remixes.. i have to admit, he killed the electric eye solo though! just don't get this 21st century metalcore screaming stuff. like some of it just not all.

no good. there are some really good songs on this album like moving forward and electric eye, but i thought only three of the songs were any good. a hit songs album? nope, just a bad one. also i wanna say even though this album came out only a year after their last, even though thats fast, you have too take more time on these albums if you want them to be any good. like i said before electric eye, moving forward and hellion are the best songs on this album but if you wanna buy the whole album and get a good listen out of it, after the good songs you'll get bombarded with songs like coffee mug and other crap like that. thank goodness for itunes.
