I guess some never heard Northern Exposure. The first mix reminds of Norther Exposure very chill and laid back and the live Mix is what the second part of Northern Exposure. The first Structure album is completely different very Progressive House music with all 3 mixes. Sad that structures series did not continue love the Bedrock labels Chill side they should make a separate compilation for it.
Amazing. Wow, i am so happy I found this album! I was looking for more mellow, kind of trippy trance music. Digweed does a fantastic job mixing up various electronic sounds which build up and progress into other sounds. What a variety! The music is really calming and relaxing, yet stimulating at the same time. If you are looking to let go and relieve some stress in a healthy way, listen to these songs :-) I highly recommend this album.
YES!. LOVE IT!
Never fails to deliver. John has proven over and over and over that he is the best at what he does! Great selections, great programing and ofcource great structure! Overall Fantastic album.
TEPID. Call me biased but the John Digweed I heard for years at Twilo during his monthly res never got recaptured on his recorded music. This is yet another album that plays out like pseudo-Jarre and that barely audible thump. Digweed plays with concussive soundscapes, he likes to surprise you with really classy bleeps but can you dance to it? Where are the driving basslines? Plus, it's clear that Digweed is not DJ-friendly, otherwise the beats would start after 10 seconds, not ninety seconds. How do you mix this stuff?
