WHATANDWHY????!?!?!?. This music is weird and stupid it makes me laugh histarically but i just dont understand how anyone can like this. It's really freaky!!!

A Worthy Introduction. For those of us already versed in the language of Laurie Anderson, it will go without saying that it's a challenge to sum things up on a "best of" collection. This album represents a transimission to the newcomer; a collection or summation of the various waves of sound and thought coming from this highly astute artist and musician. These passages are all strings that lead to a greater whole. Those who find value to them should seek out the whole. Others, (like an earlier review) should continue on.

Anderson remains true to herself; absolutely superb!. Laurie Anderson's pleasing, different style always delights me. Some of my favorites are O Superman, Born - Never Asked, Excellent Birds and the Lighting Ou for the Territories. Another that I've heard some don't like, but I do anyways is From the Air. Many bands try to do a song about flying in an airplane, but this is the best of that type of song that I've ever heard. If anyone gets these songs, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

O Superman is amazing. Um, I don't know what the other guy is talking about - O Superman is pretty incredible. I can see it being irritiating for people who don't like this kind of music, but its really quite beautifully done.
