album is quite good. i read all the reviews and bought the album inspite and i'm quite glad i did- it's really good. frankly, i'm glad it's different than the last one; although i enjoyed that one as well. there are parts in here that remind me of good ska, loose blues, otis redding, cat stevens, paul simon, jerry lewis and even ryan adams, to name a few. i look forward to watching and listening to this young man's talents continue to grow- give it a chance and let your feet have some fun

not so sunny side up.... i loved the album These Streets because u could hear his passion and raw voice. this album sounds more like some weird old country music that doesn't express his true talent, it's a bit disappointing :(

Savior of real music. First off, anyone who rates this album less than 3stars is a fool and should not even be rating music to begin with. Paolo Nutini defines a singer/songwriter. Spanning more genres than I think I've ever seen on a single album. "Sunnyside Up", Is again an album wise beyond its years. Much more upbeat overall than "These Streets" Sunnny, Starts Uplifting and ends with a song about being uplifted.This album leaves all the pop of "These Streets" and keeps all the soul.

Fantastic Album. Another great Paolo Nutini album. Sounds completely different from his debut, but it's just as good. Maybe because I had very different expectations based on his previous work or the sound is so different from anything else popular these days, I did not like the album the first time I played it. I actually had to force myself to listen to the whole thing, and it took me a few tries. After several listens, I absolute love it. The best way I can describe it is sophisticated, international jazzy-folk (yeah, I don't know what that means either, but those are the words popping in my head.) I'm thoroughly impressed by this kid....Isn't he only like 20? Despite this, his range and creativity for any age is just amazing.
