"Old Fans/ New Fans?". Alright, I will admit I was way too young to be an Incubus fan when S.C.I.E.N.C.E. came out, and their album "Make Yourself" was what orginially got me into the band (when I was in what, middle school?). This being said, I love ALL of their albums. I'm tired of this debate over old fans liking the "good stuff" and new fans liking the "sell out stuff." This is a nice compliation album that's great for people who are just getting introduced to the band, even though it does not contain their older songs. Their older songs are a bit... different to say the least. And they're great, if it's what you're into. But a lot of people I introduce to Incubus aren't into that, so it's nice to have this album to point them to. It's a good representation of the recent years of the band, and what has boosted their popularity. However, if I was going for the aspect of a nice representation of the entirety of the band's career, this wouldn't be adequate. This album might also be the bands way of letting us know that they like their new sound better, and that's what they're going to stick with. It's hard for bands to maintain a sound over so many years, without getting stuck in a rut. If this is what works for them, then people should probably stop complaining.

Make Yourself, please.... I really miss the old ways of the album "Make Yourself" - it's the only album that I can't get enough of. It is also the album that doesn't get old. It's because Make Yourself is a fresh, original album that surely cannot be copied.

Pretty much awesome!. I've listened to Incubus since the age of 11 (thanks to my sister) and they have since been my favorite band. The most admirable thing about them I think, is that have been able to grow and morph their music from what seemed to be more heavy metal to alternative rock even with a few slow songs mixed in. No matter what mood you're in, you can grab an Incubus CD and find something fitting. After reading a few reviews that said they're "too mello" or not like what they used to be, I was disappointed. They're humans too, and they're music is going to grow with them. I'm pretty pumped they're still around rockin' out, I'd say they've had a longer run than most, and I hope they keep going ;)
