closing off the big three. im pretty sure your release date is way off and in addition to thatI cant help but say that aside from tht this is one of thier more artistic albums

My personal favorite. This album makes me feel like fluffy clouds, and cinnamon febreeze. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't released In 1980.

Worth every penny!. What can I say? This album goes down in history as one of DMB's best albums! From "Halloween" to "Last Stop" and to Alanis Morissette in "Don't Drink the Water" and "Spoon", this album is classic! Love DMB

MUST HAVE. For any DMB fan at any level this CD is a must have! This CD has remarkable talent in every song. From the bass riff on Crush to the low Growling of Dave on Halloween. Then you have the soft touches of The Stone which is always a crowd pleaser at a live concert! Not to mention Spoon and the violin workings of Pig!

A Masterpiece. The Dave Matthews Band definitely does not disappoint with their third studio released album. After Under The Table and Dreaming and Crash, Before These Crowded Streets shows the darker side of the band. However, every single song on this album is great in their own way. Pantala Naga Pampa - a glorified intro, but a great way to kick off the album - 5/5 Rapunzel - A Great opener, the lyrics aren't my personal favorite but it has a great beat - 4/5 The Last Stop - my favorite DMB song; not only are the lyrics great, it has such a great rhythm to it. Be warned this song takes a long time to get used to but it is a masterpiece. This song is definitely better live though - 5/5 Don't Drink the Water - The studio album version of this song is difficult to listen to in its entirety; however when performed live, this has to be one of DMB's finest songs. It has much meaning - 4/5 (studio version, live version 5/5) Stay (Wasting Time) - A nice, upbeat gospel song. One of DMB's famed songs - 5/5 Halloween - A different kind of song, but is very rare and has an interesting sound - 4/5 The Stone - My second favorite DMB song. The guitar intro is outstanding, while the lyrics are excellent - 5/5 Crush - Whenever I listen to this song, I think of a high-mainatenence club. I like to refer to this as Before These Crowded Street's Crash Into Me but better - 5/5 The Dreaming Tree - This song seems to drag on, but has a great guitar chord throughout. 5/5 Pig - Another personal favorite. This song is very upbeat but has a serious message to it. 5/5 Spoon - The only song I do not care for on this album, but with 10 other excellent songs, there is no need for hate - 3/5 Bottomline: This is an amazing album, BUY IT!
