Their Most Impressive Album. I stumbled into this band from Pandora, with the only song I knew being The Funeral.... And borrowed Cease to Begin from a friend thinking that was the CD that had that song on it. I am now sooo glad I made that mistake!! While I don't think they have a song quite as strong as the Funeral on this CD, I will argue that this CD is stronger from start to finish than Everything All the Time. Great Songs include: Is there a Ghost, No One's Gonna Love You, Detlef Schrempf, The General Specific, Islands On the Coast Good songs (close to great): Marry Song; Cigarettes, Wedding Bands Decent Songs: Window Blues, Lamb On the Lam Overall though, this is a CD that I can pop in and not really want to skip any of the songs, which for me in this day and age says alot. I feel I find fewer and fewer artists(and CD's) that I can say that about. So if you are a fan of this band, and especially if all you have heard is maybe one or two tracks from thier first release and maybe your a little unsure, do yourself and your ears a major favor, you won't regret it!

ah !. i like listening to music that well speaks to me , as cheesy as that sounds . i want to listen to music that i can really relate too not those trashy pop songs . and well the band of horses makes me want to cry . its sad and cuts to the core . Thats exactly why i love it .

Great collection of songs. I can't stop listening to this album. It has great continuity from beginning to end. The songwriting here is something special, as is the vocal performance. I particularly like the first three tracks as well as The General Specific and Islands On the Coast. Highly recommended!
