what a gem!. i cannot believe i discovered tegan and sara just last year. i love their newer music and i wasn't sure how i'd feel about this album, but it is so good. it is a real treasure and a must for any music collection!

If you want to like it, listen in order. Like a lot of people, I've been listening to their albums backwards, starting with "The Con." If you ask me, I think they have just gotten better over the years, so if you listen to them in the order I did, then this album is probably not going to be up to par with "So Jealous" or "The Con." It was alright, but not as catchy as the last two albums. But I still love Tegan and Sara and I can't wait for their new album!

Soundtrack to my Life. This album is the most played album on my iPod. These songs fit my every mood, and the raw, unadulterated and "indie" sound and feel of Tegan Quin and Sara Quin on this album is ridiculously amazing.

from first track to last, a great cd. This is one of the few CDs I will listen to eithout skipping songs. The entire album progresses like a well written novel, smooth and easy to take. There is no ill-placed ballad or fast number that will take you out of its magic. Of the 5 Tegan and Sara albums, this is second only to The Con. The first track, aptly named "The First" is a great example of the harmony between Tegan and Sara. One of their best songs. "Frozen" is also a must-listen. My personal favorite on the album is "My Number," which is a lovely little song, sung sweetly and perfectly. This entire CD is very well written, and I cannot reccomend it more.
