I was looking through and Jack's Mannequin, my favorite band, doing John Lennon songs? incredible! as I was getting over that, I saw yellowcard on also and wow, What a band!!! Features two of my favorite bands, so yeah, 5 stars! P.S. I swear that Jack's Mannequin is the best, maybe not on this album, but "Swim" is a fantastic song, and Dear Jack is one of the most inspirational movies in the history of ever. Instant Karma:The AmnestyCampaign to save Darfur. I LOVE this album all the songs are great even if they aren't sung by John himself.He wrote some great music .I would recomend this one to everyone.

Great Album, Great Cause. Couldn't afford this version, so I bought the $11.99 version at a Borders. It was AMAZING. Matisyahu, Postal Service, Jakob Dylan, Jack's Mannequin, and Los Lonely Boys were all huge surprises! This is even better than the $11.99 version! Buy it, for Darfur.

I know its for a good cause but.... There are some artists who should not be on here. Under no circumstances should Black Eyed Peas be singing Power to the People. I like Green Day's version of Workin Class Hero, but most of the other songs arent too good. However it is for a good cause so 3 stars...

Hmmmm...Not That Great.... Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur is a rather extensive two-disc (Though not on iTunes) set featuring 34 tributes to John Lennon courtesy of today's artists...and some from a couple of decades ago (U2, Duran Duran, Aerosmith, etc.). It's a good cause, but I just didn't really enjoy a whole lot of the tributes featured here. Green Day's cover of "Working Class Hero" (Which I've never really liked anyway) has been seriously blown out of proportion and is very overrated. There are some halfway decent tributes here. U2's stunning version of "Instant Karma" is a must. So is R.E.M.'s "#9 Dream" Thank goodness that iTunes has released all of John's solo work after releasing this. I prefer the originals. Fans of today's music will definitely want to try this, but people who are used to Lennon's songs probably will want to sit this one out.
