Takes you back...way back!. Benny Goodman and his Orchestra clearly define an era. As I listen to each song I can only wonder what it must've been like to live during that time and be a part of "the greatest generation". His clarinet is mesmerizing, to say the least, and the music makes you wanna get up and dance (swing a little, possibly?). A must have for anyone wanting to expand their musical boundaries.

An absolute masterpiece!. I'm a clarinet player and have been in jazz band since 8th Grade. I absolutely love jazz and have been the only clarinet player in all the jazz bands and combos I've participated in. It bothers me that so many jazz bands lack clarinet players and contain only saxes, trumpets, trombones and the rhythm section. Benny Goodman is a complete inspiration to me, proving that clarinet players should be in jazz bands. Listening to his music makes me wish I lived in the 1920s. He inspires me to pursue a career as a jazz clarinet player.

Just gets better with age. Love this Music it will outlive all of us.

Utterly fantastic.. This is real music. Some of the stuff that's popular today...I can't even. Love him and Glenn Miller too. Oddly enough, The X-Files' "Triangle" brought me here because "Sing Sing Sing" is so similar to "Hot Liquorice" (put it up already, iTunes!) but I've come to love his music and swing in general for itself. Utterly fantastic.

Best tune. Sing, Sing, Sing is the greatest piece of music ever written. It has it all! The best rendition is the one recorded live at Carnegie Hall.
