Couldnt stand the weather. First off SRV was the greatest and there will never be anyone like him. This album is a great one of his. I can honestly say that Stevie is the only artist that I like every one of his songs. Hes got rythym you know. This is not a complete album at least not on iTunes, It does not include his hendrix cover of Voodoo Child(Slight Return) which really takes alot off of the album but as always he does a great job at covers like hide away and look at little sister by making them his own and being original but still giving credit to the writers most of the time being his influences. Then there are his originals on the album that are great, like Couldn't Stand the Weather, and Scuttle Buttin'. Over all this is a great album but his best album is In Step his first album made being sober, and his last album before his tragic early death on august 27 1990. The last thing I have to say is that the claim about it sounding like he could have tried harder is wrong he always played the guitar like it was his last time.
voodouche child. why cant i get it itunes is gaye
Let down! What?. My hate has just rose to a new level for Itunes. Let down?!!!! Come on. This is the album that made Stevie. Its the colmanation of years and years of hard work and you can hear it in every single lick of the entire record. If your looking for some Stevie Ray Vaughn, start here. And as much as I hate 'album only' sales, Voodoo Child is a must have. It's arguably the best cover Stevie ever did.
couldn't stand the weather. way to go itunes. i mean the only song we wanted was voodoo child and now your saying we have to buy the whole thing. yea right!
Why?. itunes, we hate you for having album only's and we hate you for having partial albums. the main song i wanted was voodo child(slight return) and its the only one missing! way to go
