You must listen. The THeads prove that you can play wonderfully strange annoying music that uplifts and at the same time party and dance to. The first time I saw them a friend and I disagreed whether Dave Byrne was a genius or an idiot. I think that about sums him up. Great music!

If you liked "Stop Making Sense," you'll love "The Name of This Band is Talking Heads" that is less produced than 'SMS' with the violin-sounding, sonic lead guitar playing of Adrian Belew, which is a great added bonus to the music of David Byrne and the Talking Heads!

For Heads-heads only. I bought this on CD because all I had by TH was "The Best Of" and I wanted a little more, but I'm by no means a Talking Heads-head. For a person like me, this album isn't very good. The only song worth downloading is "A Clean Break (Let's Work)." Two other songs--"Pulled Up" and "The Big Country"--are great, but better in their original album versions.

OH YES. Quite possibly one of the best albums ever. Like the iTunes review said, i didnt know about it until after i had Stop Making Sense, but now that i have it, i can't stop listening to it. From the first songs with the original members to the rest with the new members, its all nonstop musical genius. If you own any Talking Heads album, make it this one!
