My Inspiration. Jody Watley is the reason I am a DJ today. Her remix album "You Wanna Dance With Me?" opened my eyes to what a continuous mix was (back in the day when I was too young to get into clubs). I have always thought she was an underrated talent. So it's fitting that this icon of late 80's/early 90's dance music would cover another icon -- Madonna. Jody takes "Borderline" and makes it her own while staying true to the spirit of the original. I would have given it five stars but I would prefer to have this many remixes of an original track rather than a cover song, but there's still plenty here for any dance floor. --djmark marquis

Nice balance. The Chris Joss Vocal Mix is even better than the original. Obscure and intimate, yet danceable. A diametrically different from Madonna's version that works just as well.
