Lyrically Insane. Lupe has been my favorite rapper for about 1 year now and I'm glad he's getting some shine for black music month because honestly this album was much slept on. Mostly because it leaked 6 months early. Lyrically this is one of the best hip hop albums you will listen to anywhere, Lupe brings real topics and witty lyrics together and makes magic with his songs. The production isn't the best but to me the production isn't what carries a hip hop album it's the lyrics and that's where Lupe shines, similar to Talib Kweli's attitude towards production. Make the lyrics the main point and let the production just be something extra. Overall this is one of my top 20 favorite hip hop albums of all time and I don't care what anyone says Lupe is one of the best lyricists alive at this point.

This is the best Rap album released in a LONG time. Absolutely great album...lyrically it is very smart, and the beats are catchy as well. This is the best album by Lupe Fiasco, WAY better than Lasers.
