It bounces all over the rock n'roll genre; from fun tunes,like"crush on you" ,"I'm a rocker", to great songs that relate to one's inner self, like "i wanna marry you","hungry heart", and the celebratory beat to a song dealing with death( cadillac ranch).. truly an amazing work of musical art..

The River. In my opinion, one of the essential rock albums of all time. Bruce is a true genius and it shines on this album, as it does on most of his but this one is special. It has a little of everything, love, heartbreak, hard times, good times, and overall just a piece of great rock history. Put it on and just let it play all the way through.
