sooooo... nobody knows this is a re-issue.. Obviously this is a demo-style recording of pre-record label Garrett doing his busking in a studio... and noboy knows this. This is not a new cd, this does not follow Lemonade. Too bad iTunes doesn't tell you this, sounds like some people have not a clue what this "release" is -- only the fans know. Songs sound the same? Sure, they all sound like busking-in-philly era Garrett, early in his career. A waste? Up to you. I think it sounds... like a demo. Ever buy demos? Me too. Not all the time, but you make the call. Just be hip to what this is when you say it's "unlistenable". Most artists who are signed to lablels are expected to have "career length" material, and it's obvious that at the time of his signing, G was ready to record his official debut, his best, which coincidentally, is NOT offered on iTunes (yet.) d

classic g.love. This is a great cd for any true g.love fans. people that know any of his material pre-lemonade will appreciate this itunes release. original lyrics in the garrett hip hop blues style and sweet harpin. great to hear these first cuts of some of his bigger songs. if you like g.love's cds you have to check out his shows, always outrageous performances with sick guests performances.

Old school G. Love is the best G. Love. No need to rehash what everyone else has said regarding this being the early demos. Just had to mention that nothing beats the self-titled album, which many of these lyrics made their way on to. Lemonade's ok, but it seems as if the bluesy hip-hop-rock he was once a master of is no longer on his agenda. Too bad.
