Music from Rainbow Bridge. I saw a movie called Rainbow Bridge back in the 80s. It was this concert in Hawaii. I have never seen the movie since but I made a tape recording of some of the music on there. Now I have the complete set! Thank you Jesus!

Sounds like Jimi was not at his peak. I’m grateful this music was released. For a Hendrix fan, it has its place. I wouldn’t recommend it for someone newly exploring his music. The sound and style of play are rushed and to me it’s sadly apparent Hendrix was not at the top of his game. Live at Monterey is a much better live performance.

Whoever found this and released it is a GENIUS. This performance was done through all means necessary to be awesome. Jimi swapped through all 3 of his main guitars (Stratocaster, Flying V, and SG Custom) and made something special out of it. Note that it does have a lot of space gun and phaser effects so if your ears hurt easily then I wouldn’t recommend it, but all together 11/10
