Richard’s arrangements and her low vocals (“in the basement”) are in sync. Karen is one of the all time greatest female voices in pop music. I cannot pick a favorite on this CD. They are all wonderful. Karen’s voice will live forever!

I’m glad that once in a while if we’re fortunate that there comes a group or individuals that have that unique but legendary style and voice that makes a difference in their generation. The songwriting and voice were inseparable and produced a magic that captured all of us. What became a song that we could All relate to now is history that is now legend. The Carpenters had no special effects like lady ga ga or Madonna it was just a voice with simple instruments that was profound. History is now catching up and recognizing their incredible contribution. Thanks for the music.
