This is FANTASTIC pop music. Not a bad song on the album. Very strong. Very Beatles/ELO including Ringo playing on a track and Georg on another. I love how bada$$ the song "Allright" is. This turned out to be a solid Jeff album with well crafted, very catchy songs.

Great album. I'm a HUGE fan of Jeff Lynne's music, but I had never heard of this album until last night. As soon as I listened, I knew I had to have it. With great numbers like "Alright,""Moment in Paradise," and "Easy Money," this is a very solid album from start to finish.

An under-appreciated otherworldly visitation in 2001. Brilliant songwriting and arrangements from start to finish. The music and the words are moving - affecting (Ordinary Dream is a perfect song). It boggles the mind how this album was so poorly received. It wasn’t because of a mass of brilliant releases in 2001 - just look at the list of albums that came out that year. And where were people’s minds, hearts and ears at, that they took no note of Zoom’s brilliance. After the tragedy of 9/11 that year I’d have thought that people would have sought solace in art that is beautiful and that exemplifies the good that can come from humanity - but somehow, this otherworldly visitor from the stars was ignored by many. I guess mankind in 2001, wasn’t ready to reach out an touch the monolith, after all.
