Mucho Mas Spiel from Boon & Watt. It's been 20 years since Boon left us and this album is still the pinnacle. I love this album. The Minutemen never compromised, never sold out, never went mersh. This should be handed out to every person that wants to start a band and then told "this is the way of the truth".

They Jammed Econo!. The best punk album of all time. Up there with the Husker's Zen Arcade. D. Boon was one of the worlds finest lyricists and he is sorely missed. Maybe partying will help after all! Play it LOUD!

The Glory of ...... The summer of '86 I just turned 16 in Omaha and I was in a band with a couple of the Maxwell brothers jamming out covers and originals, 'Glory of Man' was top on our play list. D5 was the bible, and the Replacements' 'Tim' was the book of saints. If this album isn't in your collection in some form you may not actually be an American.

i must look like a dork. this album is great! some of the best punk to come outa the west coast let of alone the country. the 43 tracks may be to much for the first time listener but give it a try. its an album i like more and more each listen. pure expression. perfect.

Best Rock Album Ever. Call it punk rock or whatever - I consider this the best rock album ever made. It's original, spontaneous, and brimming with youthful exuberance. And the playing ain't bad either - witness the incredible bass line in "Maybe Partying Will Help." I was fortunate to catch Minutemen live at The Main Street Saloon in Lubbock, TX in 1985, not long before D Boone's tragic death. I didn't know it at the time, but I was witnessing a legendary band in action - one of the best of all time.
