Amazing. This album is absolutely stellar. I love it so much.

Favorite album. So touching and beautiful with lovely melodies, I don't get how people are saying that it's boring just because it's not as upbeat. Every song on this album has touched my soul and I love how heartfelt all of the songs are. I'm not one to write reviews but I felt this album deserves a lot of positive recognition.

Am I the only one? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!. I do not understand the mass appeal of The Lumineers. I swear, if I have to listen to "cleopatra" or "Ophelia" one more time, I'm going to lose my mind. On their best day, Lumineers' songs are just "okay". They're so formulaic, and try too hard to be clever or "hip". I have a difficult time believing so many reviewers are honestly that in love with this album. The things they say haven't been true of any bands in the last decade, or maybe even in the last 30 years. Most of this album sounded pretty decent the first play through, but each subsequent attack on my aesthetic sensibility (that's one of my names for the process of listening to their songs) is exponentially worse than the last, so that after the fourth time I've heard one of these tracks, I just want to freak out and wind up on the evening news, a statistic of bath salts and public indecency.
