Praise God. When God’s word is preached you can’t go wrong. Praise God for the boldness in sharing the Word of God through music . Love it!

I am in awe!. Wow! You need this album, why you say? Because they have worked on putting this album out for almost 10 years(maybe longer). It's incredible the way God uses these guys to put music to Psalms that many people have been reading for thousands of years. Awesome!!!

Album of the year candidate!. This is the first Shane & Shane album I've actually purchased! I'm glad to have come across this album on iTunes! I think a lot of these songs are done extremely well lyrically, vocally, and instrumentally. My favorites are Lord of Hosts, Fairest of All, Far Too Wonderful, and On Eagles' Wings. The only song that I somewhat wish they kept off the record (or wrote differently) was Psalm 34/Taste and See because it just doesn't seem to fit well with the rest of the album. That's the only song I tend to skip over, but I still give the album 5 stars because the overall album has a very passionate and moving sound and for that reason it should be a good candidate for a Dove Award! In my book however, it is certainly in the discussion as front-runner for Album of the Year for 2015, but I haven't listened to many other albums to make that judgement yet.

Intimacy. This album has captured, for me, the deep intimacy shared between a shepherd boy and his King. I do not hear Shane & Shane but the heart of David. Psalm 51 brought me to my knees in worship: the Lord is gracious, slow to anger, rich in love. He is good to all. I have truly heard the melody of the man after God’s own heart. Thank you.
