the bodeans. this album features 1 of the most overlooked bands of all time the melodies r great and the vocals awesome and the lyracism couldnt get better some of my favorite songs of all time r on here and would reccomend the album and the band 2 every1

BoDeans are a "Good Thing". I absolutely can't get enough of this song. I think the BoDeans are a band who aren't given enough credit for their work. Great harmony, lyrics, and sound.

Pretty good. This group has a good song, deffinitly not the best stuff I have ever heared, but its nice if you like that sort of music.

Not Bad. This style of music that is performed by this band sounds to me like it comes from your average christian church worchip band. The lyrics are not shabby but dont blow you away either. It is a good first album but i encourage the group to keep trying

Almost a perfect album..... The BoDeans are at the head of the list for underrated and under appreciated bands. Kirk Neumann and Sammy Llanas formed the band in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1983. In four short years they were voted best new American Band by Rolling Stone. This LP, released in 1995, is one of their very best. It only reached # 105 on the Billboard album charts, but Black and White is Sammy and Kirk at their artistic peak. "Naked," is a gut wrenching and heartfelt song about the insecurity and tenderness of love. "Good Things," may be the best Bodeans song ever and a centerpiece of their wonderful live shows. "Paradise," is another gem of a song and features beautiful harmonies between Kirk and Sammy. Overall, this a one of those buried treasures that music lovers discover and then cherish for a lifetime.

This band has been recording for around 25 years. Check out LOVE&HOPE&SEX&DREAMS or GO SLOW DOWN (among others). For a really good collection of Bodeans work, try JOE DIRT CAR. They're kinda like sushi - the more exposure, the greater the appreciation.
