A person. This is one of my favorite songs. It has a great toon and a great message.

Intelligent. I could be wrong but it sounds like the album plays in a way to follow biblical text. The songs Represent the Christian experience that is found in the celebrating and anticipation of the the time before and after the death and resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ. At his glory.

Wow.. I have never written a review on iTunes in my life, but I have felt completely compelled to do so in support of this mans thought provoking, inspirational music. Get this album, it will make you think, allow you to breathe, and reflect. My two favorites are without a doubt … A Future Not My Own and Borrowed Time!

Mr.. Pretty sweet album, it is a different than some of his other albums, but in a good way! I very much enjoy the music, and the lyrics are very profound and uplifting. :)

Saints and Sinners Review. Wow Matt Maher's new album, "Sinners and Saints" is very electronic and experimental. Would've never expected that but what an awesome gift it is to the world! It has 18 songs of awesomeness! Reminds me of when Phil Wickham followed his album "Cannons" with "Heaven & Earth." Favorites in order that they appear on the album: Deliverer, Sons and Daughters, Firelight, Instrument, Abide With Me, Because of You** (Oh gosh the closing strings at the end of this song make my heart warm), Garden (a later live recording of one of his older songs off of "Alive Again"), and lastly Because He Lives. Matt another great album! Thanks for all you do for the art community, the Body of Christ, and this world!! - Mitch Bollig

This album moves my heart!. I can’t decide which song is my favorite. Because He Lives, of course is great! Deliver, Future Not My Own, Rest, Abide with Me, Firelight, Everything is Grace… they all move my heart so much. I want to dance when I hear Borrowed Time! I love them all! Our God is AWESOME & this album reminds me of this fact!

The one thing important. Just saw him at Lifefest 2015, what a talented group! They were great, I listen to wide variety(5FDP to classical), really appreciate the Christ centered music, they put on a great show; wished they could have played for another hour. Firelight BLEW ME AWAY! Check out they're live album also. Thank you Matt and band.

Matt Maher is from the heart. Matts music has infused and inspired my walk with Christ .He seems to be able to connect with all of us in someway ,are suffering ,our trials our need for Gods mercy & Grace.Our need to humble ourselves and ask for help this album doesn't disappoint.If you haven't seen him live ........... Do it!

The best .... Is even better. This album is incredible. Matt has lots of great songs. The live album was really great and I thought just maybe he is on the verge of breaking out to a fully incredible album. Here it is. Get the Deluxe version and be prepared to enter into the mercy and mystery of Christ in a profound way. Love the variety of styles and genres. Matt - hats off.

Matt Maher Music. Ever ancient and ever new! Matt Maher's music allows for those who listen to pray and draw closer to God. His understanding of God's Universal church from 2000 years ago to today makes his music special.

His best album yet. Matt Maher has just grown and grown throughout his career. This is my favorite all of all his albums so far.Well worth the time and price. I love it and am continuously uplifted every time I listen to it.

Humbling. Authentic and genuine lyrics that speak of the Christian walk. Not glossy or superficial- inspired by Grace! This Catholic has what it takes to lead others to the Son.

Insane. There is no lyricist and song writer that has this much depth for me. This is so subjective and my opinion but this guy's stuff pierces my soul when I listen. There is so much there... Do yourself a favor and skip lunch for a couple days and buy the whole thing. Now. Stop reading. Buy it.

Love this album!. I only recently listened to contemporary Christian music when a friend had me listen to "Alive Again". I have bought every album/song by Matt Maher since this January. I listen, (and sing), his songs as another form of prayer. Given recent events, I find Sons and Daughters especially beautiful!

Little details. Awesome to have 18 tracks. Music is lyrically thought provoking. Love Matt Maher. I was just wanting more from the opening track I wished it was a full song LONGER:( My reason for not giving the full five stars is the mixing on this album when listening to it in my car at the same volume from track the waiting into because he lives there was a shift in volume and that was not cool for me. Only because the waiting is leading you into Because he lives at a high volume then suddenly drops volume. Not coo. I want it the same volume. Unfortunately you can't always get what you want.

Let me be Your instrument. I am not a huge fan of contemporary christian music, my tastes usually remain with Traditional Sacred Music, yet I recently heard a song that just touched me deeply while I was listening to Catholic Talk Radio. The song was “Instrument”, the lyrics read; ‘To the Father and the Son And the Holy Spirit, three in One,I offer you myself, though I’m broken and spent, Let me be Your instrument”. I also watched Matt singing “Lord, I Need You” in Rio at World Youth Day, put simply it was just a terribly moving video, Matt simply won me over. This album is simply awesome. Christo et Ecclesiae!!!!!

Such a gift.. I can't stop playing it. In my car, at work it's following all day. Absolutely beautiful story telling in the album. So easy to sing with. Some of his best work yet! All for the Glory of God... Amen!

Because He Lives!!! (An awesome album for a troubled time). I must say, like all “one offs” that artists release before their actual album, I was a bit skeptical of Because He Lives (Amen). Keywords “a bit”. The song is SO powerful, so inspiring, so thought provoking, and so worshipful that I continue to loop it on my iPhone for hours on end. Matt Maher, if you have never heard of him before this album, is a crazily gifted song writer from Newfoundland Canada. He’s released 7 studio albums including this one and has written dozens of great classics such as, ‘Your Grace Is Enough”, “White Flag”, “Turn Around”, “Hold Us Together”, “Christ is Risen” and “Lord I Need You”. Honestly, this new single just might be the greatest song he’s ever done; after singing it in church twice I’ve found no substitute for Jesus praising anthems on the radio at all. Honestly, the one song available is so good, I just might be willing to pay $12.99 for it alone. However, knowing Matt Maher and his extremely well done previous albums, I can guarantee you this work of art will be worth every cent.

It’s Alright. The album is just okay. I was hoping that this new album would be a change into a newer age sound but it wasn’t. Some of the songs did have a different sound than the typical Matt Maher. I noticed that they were more mellow, but most of the album is the same beat and instruments just with a faster pace or a different key. The lyrics are undoubtedly amazing. I was hoping for more in this album. Don’t buy the whole thing, just pick and choose the songs.

Album of the Year. Highly anticipated after the success of his last album, All the People Said Amen, this compelling album Saints and Sinners is an excellent follow-up. The album keeps Matt’s signature holy energy flowing, and has plenty more songs that you’ll soon be singing with fellow believers. The album perfectly captures the penetrating spirit and charisma Matt Maher’s worship songs have become known for. Maher’s theological, holy and reverent style of writing and singing worship songs has consistently attracted me. Several of Maher’s new prayerful sentiments should be added to your Sunday morning worship set, especially “A Future Not My Own,” “Deliverer,” “Glory Bound,” “Because He Lives (Amen),” and the gorgeous ballads “Abide with Me” and “Rest.” This album provides listeners with vertical offerings to God that you can sing in any circumstance, and this is my Album of the Year.

Great. I love this album it’s fantastic and it has great songs

Strong contribution. I like how Maher's style is developing, staying current. So much popular Christian music is simply a poor-man's copy of secular music, but Maher is truly an artist. I still think his best work was two albums ago, but this is still very strong.

Blues and Rock and Jesus Christ! What could be better?. I'm going around singing: "I'm alive!" , like all day! What a song! Great music, love the tracks I've listened too! Can't wait for the whole album!

Fantastic songwriter. Matt Maher is one of the best Christian songwriters out there. Some memorable tunes on this album with a diverse range of styles and melodies. The lyrics are well thought out and deep and don’t fall into many of the cliches of the industry. A refreshing album.
