Ty Segall --- Manipulator. I have to disagree a little with the 5 stars that many people are giving this one. It is good, don't get me wrong, especially Tall Skinny Lady, Manipulator and Feel, but to get the 5 stars, every song has to be top notch, according to me. Nice release though.

Manipulator has become one of my all time favorite albums!!. Ty Segall gives us about an hour worth of new material here and all if it rocks really hard. There aren't any songs you want to hit the forward button on. The attention to detail he has drilled into this record is phenomenal. Stand outs for me are Tall Man Skinny Lady, It's Over, Feel, The Clock, The Hand and Stick Around

EFF YEAH. Ty keeps cranking out epic albums and this is no different. Great range of melodic tunes and classic Ty ripping thru his guitar. Haven’t stopped listening to these tracks since downloading. Get it.

Manipulate Me. I’m a pretty die hard Ty fan, and you always wonder what’s going to happen next in your favorite artist’s life and what they will become musically. This album exceeded what I thought it would be, and it shows that Ty is getting better at what he does. Him and his entire band RIP this album front to back. Slaughterhouse and his singles album were my favorites, and this has now taken the throne hands down. I thoroughly enjoyed every song. Notables for me are “The Connection Man”, “The Clock”, and “It’s Over”. Thank god for Ty Segall Band.

RARARRAARARAR. I was a little heasitant after hearing the single, but this by far one of Ty's best records. Even the single sounds great this time around. My personal highlights would be "The Singer" "Tall Man Skinny Lady" and "The Hand"

Beyond...... Hands down the best, funkiest, most cohesive Ty we've seen yet.Worth the $25 vinyl price cause it rocks. I'll probably have to buy the cd too cause i can't stand not having this with me all the time. So unexpectedly far above and beyond. Especially love the opening track "Manipulator" and its successor 'Tall Man Skinny Lady" what an album intro two-punch! 2nd best album of the year so far.

Ups his game again!. Ty is one of my top three favorite artists. With that said, I gave this entire album an honest listen 3 times through before posting this comment/review. I have to say that ‘Melted’ has now dropped to my second favorite of his works and ‘Manipulator’ has taken the reigns. It’s his most mature album to date, is well polished where it needs to be, and the tempo of the album is very well mastered. It might be one of his more accessible pieces of work, so if you’re new to Ty Segall, welcome to a brand new whole wide world, and check out this album. For longtime fans, your earbuds will be delivered a tasty treat. With any independent artist though, I highly recommend buying the actual vinyl or CD, versus just downloading the album. This will ultimately help Ty keep making us the music we all love and cherish.
