Cash Man. A truly great Cash recording highlighting some of his best compositions, duets and melodies in the later stages of his great career. If you're a real Johnny Cash fan then you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic. I listen to this, and listen to today's "country" and just shake my head. Maybe the Luke Bryan's and Florida Georgia Line folk need to sit down and have a listen.

Amazing. Some of his best work

Simply amazing. I hope they find a thousand more lost songs. This is vintage Cash. I miss him but this helps.

Great album. This album is just like his other amazing. It's that classic cash sound and meaningful lyrics.

Cash among the stars. This is a classic and I hope it wins every award possible. Hard to believe never released.

Johnny Rockin from the afterlife!. How Heaven Johnny!, What a great surprise. I wonder if these are the original overdubs on the album or if they've been added in later. Sounds like they were added in later. Also sounds like the overdubs were digitally recorded not on tape. You gotta do it on tape. Plus having this version Mastered for iTunes doesn't help. Do yourself a favor folks buy this on CD when it comes. Johnny Rockin from the afterlife! God bless ya Jonny

i have no words. i thought we had every song he wrote and/or recorded either these were unearthed or Johnny ain't dead

The Man in Black is Back. Great songs all as usual from the legend except I'm sure that last track probably made him roll over in his grave, whoever produced it must've had a hard knock to the head or something.

Johnny Cash still greatest. This series of recordings reaffirms Cash's title as greatest country musician of all time and his place as a fantastic story teller. Was at a Cash concert in the '90s and he was still telling the newer supposed country music establishment to shove its pop sound where the sun don't shine. Thank God for this CD and for Kacey Musgraves and a revival of real country.

The Man in Black!. Honestly, I don't know how these songs got lost! They're awesome! I truly wish I was able to go see him perform before he died. Amazing Cash!

Perfection. This is yet another example of why Johnny Cash is the absolute best- He turns what most artist would consider to be their "leftovers" into what sounds more like a "greatest hits"

Favorite Musician. So glad that they are still finding things even after he has past on. I wonder at what the world would have been like if Hank Williams had been able to sing with him...

The Man In Black!. Johnny Cash Is the best of all time...so excited for this album.

Cash never dies. This is one of the greatest albums of all time I've been listening to it sense the day it came out and I still can't get enough of it

Marvelous JC Music. Is this man immortal or what? He sings to us from the great beyond. Let’s hope John C. Jr. Pulls more rabbits out of the hat. Like Frank…crank out some duets. We expect this album to be awarded big time at the CMA and all the rest!!

Elvis of country. Bought it and new every song was gold before i listened to it! Johnny cash has been my favorite for about 5 years but has been with me all 15, hes my grandpas favorite as well so not only do i like his songs cause well its johnny i love them cause if my grandpa

Cash and Carry. Wow, even in death Johnny comes through with an album. Johnny is the Best!!!

Johnny. Love this album!

where. it's march 25! why is is not out!!??

What A Treat To Wake Up To. Just got up and was checking my email when I saw this album. I honestly care little for the "new" music these days, so I immediately had to buy this. Wow!! This is excellent through and through, my only question is…..how could this masterpiece have just been set aside?

Can't get enough. What a pleasant morning

AMAZING!!!. Some of his best work. You can really tell he was in a really good place in his life which reflects in music. Amazing story teller.

SUCH A SHAME IT WAS 'LOST' BEST EVER. This may be one of his best albums ever and such a shame it was 'lost' since 1984. Not a bad track on it and the title track, Baby Ride Easy , and Don't You think It's Come Our Time rate right up there with the very best

What a Treat!. Listening to this music -- recorded long ago -- reminds why Johnny Cash is a legend. The one thing that really shines through is just how much Johnny ENJOYED a good song. His signature voice is rich & strong. The duets are awesome & June Carter Cash & Waylon Jennings make their own fine contributions. When Country was Country.

Legend. Amazing 👍

Wow !. The first day of release and it's on I Tunes. Great album by the Master. Thanks.

5stars. Just outstanding!

The Man in Black.... A compilation of pure gold, nothing less.

Awesome. I don't often write album reviews, but this is a great one from Johnny. Don't let "early '80s Johnny Cash" put you off. This is solid.

Ain't no grave can hold him down.. Johnny Cash wasn't lying when he said "Ain't no grave can hold my body down." One of the greatest country singers of all time is back from the dead with another amazing album. Definitely worth the money! Each song is amazing!

Incredible!. Classics everyone of them. No one can top the Man in Black!

Johnny Cash. Now I know why he did not release this. Only 3-4 okay tunes the rest eeehhhh.

Stunning. It's been 11years since Johnny passed away from a broken heart. I remember where I was when I got the news. It's absolutely outstanding That a decade later, treasures/gifts like this, are being unearthed! LKH

Johnny cash. This is wonderful,I'm hearing the songs for the first time, sounding great ,fresh.Johnny cash will always be a favorite hero of mine, being a Arkansan too I'm proud of the history of this music. The man in black is truly a American icon.

Peep game partner. Johnny cash is by far the best country singer of his time listening to this album reminds me of my dad playin me all cashs music when i was younger i love it

Timeless and breathtakingly intense. What a gift... Beautiful beyond words. Deepest gratitude to Cash-Carter family for releasing this album. Powerful works of art and expression of a soul that simply stops the time. Thank you so much!

Not just leftovers. If you thought these would be just table scraps...wrong! these are classics as well.

Ring of Fire. Need I say more ...

Blast from the Past!. Love it! Country Soul all the way!

Johnny has rising!. I hope J.JR. has many more songs in the vault.I never get tired of Cash, this play list of songs is typical good Johnny Cash.

Johnny Cash will never die!. This is such a great album, one of my favorites!

Amazing!!!. How did these songs remain hidden all these years?? These are quite possibly some of the greatest Cash songs ever! Absolutely love this album from beginning to end! THIS IS REAL COUNTRY MUSIC! Not this pop crap they try to pass off as "CUNTRY" music today! Johnny Cash is legendary and will always be so! Brilliant!

forever. Johnny's music will never die

Another lets make a quick buck off a legend.. Hate seeing people make money off a legend. There is a reason the music never was released and it should have stayed that way. People just trying to make money off Johnny

Unbelievable. When someone first told me about this "lost album" that was coming out I could not take them serious. A "lost" Johnny Cash album ? There is no way that is possible, but with some research I did of my own, oh my was I shocked. I could not believe that there was Cash music that the world was missing out on. Especially my father missing out on it, him being a die hard Cash fan along with myself. I bought the album just the other day and I can not stop listening to it, it just fills me with such emotion, and great feelings I can not even describe. Cash will never die I can tell you that. Keep rockin' you old soul !!!

The Greatest. This album only supports the notion that Johnny Cash was the greatest country singer and/or greatest musician of all time. This album covers a couple of genres from classic country, to ballads, to gospel, to rock. Johnny just nails them all. I am so glad that we finally have this missing piece from his puzzle. Way to go Mr. Cash, and the world still misses you and needs you.

More From The Man in Black. An overall great album with very beautiful and poignant songs.

Masterpiece. Wonderful but date on it supposed to be 25th not 21st iTunes needs to fix lots of albums dates they did wrong

CASH ETERNAL. There's not a Cash song I don't love. Everything he does pierces souls. The Greatest Country Singer? YES. The Greatest Musician/Artist Of Any And All Genres? HECK YEAH!!!!!!

Out Among The Stars. "FANTASTIC". This release of Johnny Cash has taken me back to the 1950s when he released his first Long Play record. I had the same emotions this evening as I did back then. June Carter and Waylon Jennings just made it that much better as I met both of them in Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern in the 60's. A big thank you to those who released this album. Larry

Best artist. Nothing but brand new to us, old style Johnny cash music, can't get better

Johnny cash #1. Like George jones said. " there'll never be another " This is so true I love Johnny. Just wish I could've met with him. This cd will be the best yet I'm sure of that. Thanks cash family for keeping it going. Big hugs from Canada.

Great!. I really like this album even though I haven't listened to a lot of Johnny Cash

Out Among the Stars. Out Among The Stars is a new album of 12 recently discovered Johnny Cash studio recordings. They were originally recorded in Nashville in 1981 and 1984 and produced by Billy Sherrill, the architect of the "countrypolitan". The tracks include duets with June Carter Cash and Waylon Jennings as well as Marty Stuart on guitar and mandolin, Jerry Kennedy (guitar), Pete Drake (steel guitar), Hargus "Pig" Robbins (piano) and Henry Strzelecki (bass). The recordings, which have never been released in any form, are not demos, out-takes or alternate versions. They were in the vaults during the years Columbia Records released Johnny Cash's last albums and were subsequently forgotten until discovered by John Carter Cash--Johnny's son--in 2012.

👌💕. Omg unreleased songs discovers by John Cash, Jonnys son 😍

what is this?. Hey iTunes, there is no information about this album. Is it old songs remastered, never released songs, outtakes from the Rick Rubin sessions?

THE MAN IN BLACK. For what he represented, he will always stand alone in history. A true man who preached the reality of real life with his guitar. An original outlaw who will live forever.

The Johnny I grew up with. I loved the Rubin version of Johnny Cash. It was great production and the song choices were great. But after hearing this release of new-to-us material, I am made aware of how much his voice had changed. This is the Johnny I grew up with in the 80's. His voice is strong, he's got the attitude from earlier in his career but mellowed and tempered a bit. Hearing duets with June and Waylon again nearly brought a tear to my eye. An album of strong music that still sounds fresh after 30 odd years in the vault. A definite recommendation from this listener.

Such a good album. Johnny sure did it this time! Every song on this album is so catchy. Johnny made lots of albums and songs but this new release album is the best! Thank you Cash family for FINALY publishing it to the public.

Johnny Cash. Best Johnny Cash Album ever and I mean ever

Baby ride easy. I love that song it's the best

basic CASH. This release is basic 1980's CASH and it is a joy to listen to. Even knowing he was not at his best during those years he is still miles above the crap they are putting out as country now. Country singers today are ground out and taste like hamburger while John CASH is a true prime cut with all the trimmings.

Generations of Johnny Cash Listeners. Great music released by a man who knew how to get into your soul. I was raised with music by Johnny Cash and now my 14 year old Grandson listens to him. I only wish my father were still alive to hear the new release. Thank you to Mr. Cash's son John for allowing us to listen to great music from a great man!!!!!

Star ... Stars. I love you CASH good luck man

Very pleased. I love this album and the story behind it

Foss13. Brilliant - Cash at his best!

Legend. Can't believe this wasn't released so he could bask in its glory.

Cash Gold. His voice and his story telling just grab you and and say listen and it's amazing and I still love him a lot

Amazing. Johnny cash is just amazing if you thought it can't get better well... You are wrong.

Legend Johnny Cash!. Got this album the other day and still playing and loving in! In the garden now with the sun out playing his album this is coming from a 19 year old lad aswell! But love this guy! A true legend! 😃👍✌️🍻🎶🎸🎸🎸🙌🙌

Cool. Good good good

Superb. Absolute Cash at is best.

Brilliant Album. I've listened to Johnny Cash for more than forty years. Really enjoyed this album, my favourite is the title track, out among the stars.

Wow. In my opinion, this is johnny cash at his best.

Great Album. This is a great Album. Vintage Cash. I think it will chart high and stay there.

Fresh and powerful. After listening to most of Cash's later work, where his voice became more and more fragile, the first thing that struck me about this collection was the power of his vocals. The work feels fresh, ok a tad corny and sentimental at times, but he can tell a mean story in a 210 second song. My current favourite is the fast moving "Moving On".

Country Musics Best.. Having spent a lifetime listening to the Great Man.This is a brilliant Country Album, and a MUST own for all J.C.fans.Love it from start to finish. If I Told You Who It Was,my favorite.

Mind-Boggling!. It's a real shame it took this long for OATS to be released, it's not THE BEST Cash album but it'll give the best a run for its money! Great, Great album

Johnny at his best.. Bought it yesterday and played numerous times already. Some great new (old!) tracks. Not sure what the reviewer above me expected?

10/10 would agree. AMAZING

Really Good. I haven't purchased the album yet, but I definitely will when I get paid. Johnny Cash was an incredible singer and his legacy will live on forever:-) x

Here's johnny. Anybody who likes johnny cash will love this..
