The vulnerability and emotion in her rendition is clear for all to hear, but her poise and vocal control never slips. Bryan Adams’ classic, Everything I Do (I Do It For You) is stunning in its simplicity and sincerity. Juris will pull on your heartstrings in the lovelorn ballad If Wishes Came True, Sweet Sensation’s number one hit. The openness in I Honestly Love You, by Olivia Newton-John, is unique in how unaffected and sincere it is. Juris sings a slightly R&B tinged version of Do You Know Where You’re Going To, the theme song from popular movie Mahogany. Say You Love Me is cheerful and uplifting, the only song to feature a ukulele on the album. Juris channels youthful, puppy love on this track to great success. Juris impresses with the emotion embodied in If You And Me, an English cover of SNSD member Taeyeon’s popular Korean song If. The hesitance and vulnerability in her voice astounds. I Love You Goodbye, originally sung by Celine Dion, was Juris’ contribution to the soundtrack of the movie with the same title, which won four awards at the 35th Metro Manila Film Festival. Juris’ voice is poignant in Wishes with hope and positivity. Don’t Say Goodbye is a wistful and touching ballad.
