worth it!. don't know why this album get overlooked, but if you are just getting into korn, or don't have this album in the catalog you really need to add this one totally worth it.

One of their hardest albums.... This is one of my favorite Korn albums of all time. While everyone else stuck on "Follow the Leader," I felt as if it had gotten overrated way too quick and what kept it going was "Freak on a Leash." On this album, "Right Now" is THE song to own... It's full of so much anger and hate and the lyrics just match what most of us feel towards our enemies. Also worth noting, on their last song is a "hidden" Live cover of Metallica's One!!!

Ehh. There are a few good songs but the whole album sounds very very processed. There is defiantly a lot of raw songs like right now ( which is actually a quite good song ) but I just don’t like the processed sound.

Take A Look In The Mirror. Korn did an amazing job with this album, and this album has a great flow. Every track on this album is good, and I could listen to it in it's entirety everyday. The instruments wrap around the vocals perfectly, and intertwine like no other. Looking forward to the next Korn album, and extended play. This album just like other Korn albums defines todays generation of rock. Korn always goes above and beyond when it comes to connecting with the listener. My favorite song is definitely "Alive".

Great. i hear a lot of people hate on this album and say that see you o the other side is way better but this album has one thing that see you on the other side doesn't. head

So underrated!. When Korn hinted a Back to Basics record, they meant it, consistently heavy barn burners like [1994] Korn. A must have!!

The Album That's Most Likely to Blow Out Your Speakers. One of the most insanely bassy albums I've ever heard. Careful. There's so much bass it will blow out your speakers. I didn't get into this album that much, but there are some great moments if you've been following Korn up to this point. Korn wrote a great album for me when I was in high school, but it hasn't aged as well as others. The angry lyrics on this one seem a little over the top at times. This might actually be the most over the top Korn album they made. Depending on who you are this can be a great thing. Even though this album overall hasn't aged well for me, I have to admit it has a very distinct sound, so it does stand out. It manages to bring together all the different sounds that Korn have tried up to this point. Overall, I have some very mixed feelings, it has a lot of filler, but Right Now is hands down one of the best Korn songs.

totally underrated. this is by far one of the most underrated korn albums. it is SO awesome. Break Some Off is one of the most amazing song i've ever heard and then Alive takes you back to the Neidermeyer's Mind days. Get this album right now you will not be dissapointed.

Yeah. This album is worth it and in the is awesome because they do a Metallica cover

Great album. This was Korn's last great album. After Head left it all went bad for this band.

One of the best by KoRn!. This album is perhaps KoRn's most underrated album they have made yet. It may not exactly have some of KoRn's biggest hits and classics, but it is an almost flawless album, overall. Every song is worth listening to because they are all different from eachother. It's a very adventurous and diverse album that still has the same feel as any other KoRn album. It's a great album that every KoRn fan should check out no matter what!

Outstanding!. This album is so so so amazing!!!!! Right now, Y'all want a single, and did my time are some of Korn's best songs. Love this album!

For some reason this is Jonathan Davis' least favorite album, but I love it!. I guess the band must have just been going through a hard time in their lives when they put this album together and maybe that's why JD doesn't like it. For me it's right up there with their first album, Untouchables, and Follow the Leader on the list of my favorite Korn albums. The whole album is very heavy and everyone in the band just sounds great. I hesitated in purchasing this one for a while but I really feel like it's severely underrated. Now since I got it a few months ago I have to listen to it just about every day! The 3 songs together - Did my Time/ Everything I've Known/ Play Me (with Nas - a very underrated song - I think it's a great solid performance and by far Korn's best metal/rap song) are one of the best sets of 3 songs in a row I've ever heard. If you like Korn's sound on their first album I think you won't be disappointed with this.

The last awesome Korn album. This album was the last best Korn record they have put out. Every album after this has been mediocre or just plain crap. Hopefully with the return of Head, Korn gets their balls back.

Y'all wanna single?. Y'all wanna single is a song about how bands shouldn't make u pay for music and yet here u are charging $1.29 for that exact song 😐

KoRn for life. This album was dropped 2 days before I was born!! And I’m still listening to it RIGHT NOWWWW!!

AWESOME. By far my favorite KoRn album! Heavy as hell!

Classic Korn. If you like old Korn then you will like this album. It’s solid.

Amazing. I believe this is one of their best albums. It is grungy and really just amazing. there's a lot of loud bass slaps (example: "Alive") and I love the older sounding KoRn preferably, but that's just my opinion. overall, this album is worth your money, definetely!

Awzome. John Davis has been my idol sinse i was 12 years old. since then, my life is awesome. THANK YOU!!!!1

Awesome. Awesome is simply all I can say about this album. Speechless.

Underrated, yet GREAT album. This album compared to the last 2 previous Korn albums stands out to me because it's simply louder and heavier. "Issues" which was a commercial success is great album, even though it lacked the heavy metal sound. "Untouchables" was an album people would consider to be just okay. I'm not a fan it because it was the sound was too soft. "Take A Look In The Mirror" brought back the heavy guitar and riffs, and Jonathan's vocals seemed to improve with his screaming, and his lyrics seemed to be similar to the debut album in positive ways. "Right Now" was an great opener, "Did My Time" was probably the most well known song off the album. This album is the most underrated to Korn, but is great record. GO BUY IT!!

Best. This is the Best Album from that stretch! Its just solid epic Korn sound stuffed into your ears. Eat it! Eat this ear Korn NOW!

Korn ii, if there was one. We all know about their self-titled album, laying the foundation of their sound. And we know about Korn iii, Remember Who You Are, but where's Korn ii? Look no further than Take A Look In The Mirror. This album celebrates their 10th Anniversary since their demo in 1993, and even one track from that demo, Alive, appears on this album. This album was self-produced, and they regress back into their older sound. I think this album features a lot of screaming vocals from Jonathon Davis. Head refers to this album as "the worst record we ever made," but I don't think it's bad. It just didn't advance their sound the same way the last two albums did. Right Now - 7/10 Brutal opener from start to finish. Break Some Off - 9/10 Very heavy. And it's short, I might add. Lots of screaming. Counting On Me - 9/10 Most relatable song. Love it. Here It Comes Again - 8/10 Good track. Melodic and heavy. Deep Inside - 6/10 This features from time signature changes between 4/4 and 6/8. Nothing super technical, but it's cool. Did My Time - 7/10 Korn classic, right here. It's good. Everything I've Known - 7/10 I really appreciate how this track slows everything down. It's relatively serene and gives variation to the album. Play Me - 8/10 I don't think Nas contributes much to this song as the lyrics he has are relatively unintelligent and hurt the song more than help it. When Korn seizes control again at the bridge, then this track is SOLID. Alive - 6/10 Originally featured on their demo, but never released as it morphed into Need To from their first album. Need To is a better rendition, I think, but still, this song is neat. Let's Do This Now - 8/10 Sick bagpipe intro. Fast and brutal. I'm Done - 9/10 This is my personal favorite. Great melody and riff. Y'all Wanna Single - 8/10 Playful. Short and heavy. You either like this one or you don't. When Will This End - 6/10 Decent closer. Really resembles the sound they had in their first album.

Perhaps the best?. Trust me I've done my fair share of listening to KoRn. I love all of their stuff but...I think this is my favorite.

Highschool years and beyond. When life is hard, Korn is there to embrace you in a warm dark blanket of awesomeness.

My favorite Korn record!. This is the best work Korn has put out yet! What makes this album so fascinating is it contains alot of heavy brutal riffs; yet it has some catchey melodic parts in the verses and choruses, which is the main formula they use on this album on this album. They maintain this formula throughout the entire album. Buy this album if your a fan of the old Korn that use to have so much passion in their music!

Amazing album. Underrated. This album is so well done every song is incredible.

Korn's best album. A must have for any Korn fan or someone just getting into them. Beginning to end amazing. Favorite songs are Right Now, Deep Inside, Did My Time, Everything I've Known, & I'm Done. Love love love this album. Best Korn album beginning to end in my opinion.

Underrated. Last good, heavy album they put out
