Sammy Kershaw sings it better. Love the song "Better than I used to be" which Tim covers here. Just does not have the deep feel or the grit of the original version by Sammy Kershaw in 2010. BuySammy's ersion - you won't be disappointed.

LOVE. I love this record and Tim McGraw. ❤❤❤

hate remakes. sammy does it better then youll ever be

I love Tim McGraw. I completely love this album! Tim McGraw always knows how to impress with his music!

Review. Another awesome album from Tim McGraw!

Love the songs. I absolutely love the songs on this album!! Way to go Tim!!

My favorite Tim McGraw CD. This one is my favorite CD from Tim McGraw. Every song is really good. I am not a country music fan but I do like Tim McGraw. It's CDs like this that make me like some country music.

Love this guy...album is just ok for me. I've been a Tim McGraw fan from the beginning! Favorite country singer hands down, and so glad he came out with an album after so long, but what I'd really like to see is Tim and his guitar. Nothing else, just an acoustic set full of heart and soul.

Not even a Tim McGraw fan. I use to like Tim a long time ago, but for some reason I haven't been a fan of his. I haven't really liked a song of his except "angry all the time" & "Live like you were dying". That is until this song, first time I heard it, I instantly felt connected to the song, almost as if he was singing about me. I live this song, in my opinion, it's one of his greatest.

Awesome music. Awesome music great voice big fan music thank you will always remember you plus friendship

The One That Got Away. Listen to the original version by Dave Pahanish. Much, much better.

Probably a great pop album..... If i liked pop. Is this the same Tim McGraw that used to be an Indian Outlaw????????

Love it. Tim has always been my favorite country singer all time he still is and this is most deff one of my faves i still think he gots it

Emotional Traffic. I can not stand this album, as the same for the past few. I truly believe Tim McGraw has sold out and abandoned the fans that made him who he became. I think he needs to rethink back to the basics and take notes from his Everywhere album, and older ones. Tim, please go back to the Down on the Farm, Everywhere kind of sound you had before. Thats the Tim we the true fans from day one got to know and love.

Far cry from Sammy Kershaw. I love the first hit off this album, "Better Than I Used to Be". Problem is, NOT Tim's version. The words to this song are powerful and emotional, but Tim just can't pull it off. Listen to Sammy sing it - it's like he really lived it and is telling you his story. Plus the musical rendition to Sammy's version is much more pure country.

Album For Sale.... I've been robbed. Where's the Sexy Country Lousiana Tim McGraw. Don't take the girl, Everywhere, If you're reading this, Indian Outlaw, It's your love! Sammy's version blows Tim's away. He's so pop now its completely sad. Didn't he learn his lesson when he put out Set This Circus Down (even this cd had more country songs than this one)! So disappointed, not worth a purchase - selling my cd for $1.00!!!!!

As a loyal-fan to Tim.... ...i have actually listend to his past few songs.... that have sucked but i see this as a redemption album... with only 2 hits.... :) he has to pull it together fast for his die-hard fans to get something out of this album

Sell Out to Commercialism. Too produced, too commercial, too not country. I didn't much care for this one at all. He needs to get some down home country emotion back into his songs.

Tim Mcgraw. Tim McGraw has dropped alot since he started doing more of the pop. He needs to go back to Lousianna and get someinspiration back

Miss the old Tim. What ever happened to the old upbeat country party songs that he used to sing? Almost everything he sing anymore makes me want to fall asleep. Hollywood, Faith, children? I don't know what did it to him but I wish he would get back to his roots.

Tim is the best!!. Love it, as always!! <3 you Tim McGraw!!

Lost his hat. . .. Well Tim McGraw has finally taken his hat off, and left land of country completely, and entered that cross-over place. Nary a fiddle or steel guitar to be heard here. Just neo-modern pop pap. Too bad. I used to really love his music.

Another great album. I just purchased emotional traffic and absolutely love it . Tim never disappoints and while it's been a little bit since his last album, my opinion it was well worth the wait. Job well done Tim, keep up the good work.

Better than I used to be. Great song, almost made me believe it was written just for me.

Compressed and Overproduced. While i like McGraw's music, this has to be one of the worst engineered albums of the year. Highly compressed and overproduced, it is fatiguing to listen to. Maybe someone can introduce him to Alan Jackson's producer/engineer….

Where did country go?. What's up with all the country stars lately, so tired of all the pop-country. Tim's last album was far more country that this. Come on guys, get back to your roots, not what your producers want you to do! Blahhhhhh!!

Upseting.. This is upseting.. It's hard to hear this album after being such a big fan of all of his earlier albums. He doesn't even sound right anymore. The only song I can stand to listen to is Better Than I Used to Be. Please get back to the Tim McGraw we love.

Tim Mcgraw. I grew up listening to him... He is Truely a country legend for the books

its about time!!. TIM IS BACK!! HA

eeh. i've heard better from tim.. but "Die By My Own Hand" is a cover taken from the band Halfway to Hazard. He does it justice but still not as good as their's

One part, two part. I love this song. I just wish the radio would start playing it.

Better than i use to be. If anyone has ever made a mistake in life they would understand the song Better than I used to be. I love it! Everyone should always try to be better every day... That song is honest and about something real... Learning from ur mistakes is the best part of messing up and this song tells it all....

He's awesome!. Enough said!

Fantastic. I bought this album on an impulse, and I'm so glad I did. Fantastic album. Only one song was a dud in my opinion, but I don't care. Most are upbeat and bouncy, and the Felt Good On My Lips was a bone-chilingly epic version. Excellent album Tim.

wow. wow! i used to be a Mcgraw fan, but how can you go from indian outlaw, country boys and girls getting down on the far, i like it i love it, etc etc to this???? if you want country tim mcgraw than dont waste your time with this album. If you want post-marriage pop inspired tim mcgraw than should be right up your alley

Tim McGraw cd. I love best cd yet

GREAT!!. I am a huge Tim Mcgraw Fan, he is one of the best country singers of all time! I have missed hearing new songs by him so this NEW album had me so excited. I love it! The only issue I have with it is more than half of the songs are slower, and I love his fast songs! So, I would have liked it a little more if there were a few more of them. I LOVE U TIM McGraw!!!!

What happened?. Ok I like tim mcgraw but that sounds nothing like him except for better than i used to be and felt good on my lips. I mean come on where did his accent go and he is like enunciating every word like he aint even from lousiana..... i think when taylor wrote tim mcgraw she put him on her bandwagon on the pop route. Her and tim need to have a come to jesus meeting and find they're country roots again. Because if it hadn't been for the country fan base they would be nothing.

Stupid. ugh.

I miss Tim McGraw. Yuck. The songs that have already been released, "Felt Good On My Lips," and "Better Than I Used to Be," are great, but the rest of this album is unrecognizable as Tim McGraw. They turn far away from his country music roots and just don't fit.

Oops.... Was this an accident? This album is terrible. With the exception of "Felt Good On My Lips", which is pretty catchy…I couldn't bring myself to get through 15 seconds of any other track. Tim, you're cool man, but need to pick it up a bit. Throw in a couple sappy cuts for the ladies and make the rest of your album rock…not the other way around. Hopefully you can bounce back. Was at the USS Midway show this week and your voice wasn't all that powerful. You had four guitarists doing the job of two good ones. Revamp, regroup and give us something worthy.

The best country cd I heard in a long time. This is one of the best country cd's i have heard in a long time,I would say one of his best cd's. This is the kind of music you have to hear it not listen to it.

Finally!. It has been a really long time since I could honestly say I liked a Tim McGraw song. He has gone waaaaay too Hollywood and Pop for my taste. "Better than I used to be" is a fantastic song! It's nice to see at least one "real" Country still exists in his world.

ALBUM TITLED WRONG..... This album should have been titled DIE BY MY OWN HAND....'cause that's exactly what this album did. Tim go back to the studio, and don't leave until you create a REAL country album again.

Love Country Music. Sofie 53 years old Load is not better, When the music drowns out the voice you loose me , I respone to the words, the story, the voice and a feeling.... I 'v bought everything Tim has done, for a reason..... I enjoy it....Emotional Traffic sounds like anyone today .....who's trying to land a music career.... Listen to Jim Reeves...take a stroll into an old studio in Nashville you'll get it back ... you've got it

Good Music. Love the song I will not fall down!! One of the best I have heard speaks to my heart!! Love you TIM!!!

Solid CD. Tim at his best. If you like "Die by my own Hand" look up Halfway to Hazzard...real good

Nice Try.... Sammy Kershaw's version of Better Than I Used To Be is better!

This album is awesome!!. Tim has done a great job of showing his versatility. Not the same sound of old country or new country. I'm a true Tim fan so can't say I would ever dislike anything he sings:)

Worst Tim CD Ever. On the cover of the CD, it says Tim says this is his best album. Horribly wrong! Only a couple of good songs, couple of ok ones, and rest is garbage. Waste of money to buy the CD. I miss the Tim from 90s / early 00s. I will most likely not buy his next album because of this.
