okkkk. well...there is definatly better Reggae out there. Much better. Like so much better you will cry if this is all u have ever listened to for Raggae. In fact if u think about it this kinda stinks, BUT! It beats the pants off music like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. So does a group of eighty year olds singing choir music while playing bingo in their local church but hey, they arent putting out CD's so i cant reccomend them. Anyway all I have to say is if your trying this out to get into Raggae dont waste your time...you'd be better off with something like Mishka or Gyptian. Or Micheal Franti and Spearhead.

My Favorite Island Music. This is Junkanoo, not Reggae (the one-star reviewer is obviously not too intelligent). It was the soundtrack for a week long trip to the Bahamas with some friends about 10 years ago. We were fortunate enough to also see some authentic New Years Day Junkanoo parades, and this album does an excellent job of capturing the Bahamas' sound. I can't believe this is the same band that released the very silly "Who Let The Dogs Out". If you are a connoisseur of reggae, island music, world music, etc., then your collection is incomplete without this gem.

It's JUNKANOO... not Reggae!. Great album! The genre is actually JUNKANOO... a rhythmic sound indigenous to the Bahamas! I'd love to see an album on iTunes with sound from an actual Junkanoo parade though. The authentic Junkanoo sound is incredible... you can feel the rhythm and drums pass through your body. Wow!!!!

This Junkanoo. The Bahamas is one of very few countries that actually celebrate this cultural parade this is not reggae to the person who's talking about there is better reggae out there there is only one kind of junk a new and if you studied culture and or music you would understand and know that it's too bad you didn't do that prior to writing you're dumb review online

its great!. Bahamas are just getting out there the have had it rough in the past! the people are great! love it there(: i dont know what your talking about "okkk" person because your obviously not out there making music in a hard econmic place! quit judging unless you actually do it so get a life!
