absolutely awesome, among other things. when i first saw this movie, i fell in love with it. (500) days of summer actually introduced me to regina spektor. i've watched it 5 times since and each time, i find myself loving another song from the soundtrack. they might not seem great at first, especially if you're not really into indie or alternative, but they grew on me. and they sound even better when you rewatch the movie and hear them again. after listening to the songs on my own and watching the movie over again, it gives a whole new perception of the movie [in a good way] and i can't help but thank whoever chose the music for this movie. incredible movie, and same goes for the album.

Perfect. This is not only the soundtrack to the movie, but to my life as well.

Great album, great movie. You can't go wrong with Doves (There goes the Fear), Sweet Disposition, Hall & Oates, Here Comes Your Man. All in all, a great soundtrack to a terrific movie.

Great mixture of underrated classics.. I am a die hard action movie enthusiast. I was never the fan of love stories. After seeing 500 days my taste in movies change a bit. I went straight to iTunes and purchased a digital copy and the soundtrack. I never heard a soundtrack that fit so well with a movie. Being a lover of classic rock and hip hop, I was surprised to find myself singing along with every track. Regina Specktor replaced my number one female vocalist and Wolfmother is now on my list of must get artists. Zooey Channel is so hot and Joseph Gordon Levitt has always been one of my favorites. Their on screen chemistry is what makes this movie an instant classic. Watch the movie and buy this album now, you won't regret the purchase.

I love this solo much. This is now one of my ALLL-FRICKIN-TIME-FAVORITE MOVIES!!!! But I really wanted summer and Tom to be together....😕😕😕😕😕I loved it though.

One of the greatest soundtracks ever!. This soundtrack makes me regret not seeing this movie yet. It's beyond fantastic. Although the only thing I don't like on this soundtrack is the cover of "Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want" by She & Him. Although any cover of a Smiths song won't sound good to me. Gorgeous otherwise!

A wonderful coincidence.. I completely love this movie after watching it, and yes, the soundtrack expresses the characters emotions in a way like no other. I couldn't imagine any other songs to convey such emotion. The ending of the movie is great, it had me tickled with laughter.

Second, I have just about all these songs on my iPod, and I have more than a few of them on my Top 25. I can't say that about any other album. Moreover, I've never been so excited for a soundtrack before. Never have a film and soundtrack gone so well together, in my opinion. Mumm-Ra. The soundtrack is real cute but why male some of the best songs album only? Mumm ra's song should be available to purchase for $0.99 since so many people seem to like it. Plus, theyre a great band. :B

In love. One of the best soundtracks I've heard. Always been a big fan of Ms. Deschanel's band She and Him, but the inclusion of Temper Trap's "Sweet Disposition" was overkill. Perhaps the most important single is my all time fave. Regina Spektor. I have always loved her skill on the piano and for them to include "Us" and "Hero" on the soundtrack forced me to include this soundtrack on my favorite ever.

it's simple. This album is just so good, so perfect and the movie is fantastic as well. It's not the romance story we're all used to and it's refreshing, because some things just don't end perfectly.

not for everyone. this is one of the sweetest films, it makes me so happy and I love it! this movie isn't for everyone tho, if your more into action movies and don't like to stray out of that, I wouldn't recomend it. some ppl find it "boring." it's moving in a very subtle way and some ppl just arnt able to fully appreciate it. same goes for the soundtrack. don't rele like anything other than rap? don't get this. jgl is the bomb! amazing actor, the real deal. from 3rd rock and 10 things i hate abt u, to stuff like manic and shadowboxer and brick and the lookout to inception----- this guys the real deal! most of his roles are so different and he portrays his characters so well. watch his movies!!!!! zooey is the cutest :)
