Holy Wow!!!!!!!!!!!. This song is amazing!!!!!!! Great music! awesome lyrics! it's a definite must-have for any decent library!!!!!

AMAZING. Who the **** cares if it sounds different than the original songs, there is such a thing as change, how do you know if Ronnie wouldnt have adapted this sound later in life had he still be living. I for one think its amazing, heavy, but still the message of the song stands strong to their roots. I cannot WAIT for the album to come out September 29th

I was prepaired to be dissapointed.... I am a bit of a Skynyrd snob and have had problems with so many of the original members not in the band anymore due to deaths and members leaving, but this song is a terrific effort and I reallly like the sound! I would recomend this song to any Skynyrd fan, fan of Southern Rock or any plain old Rock fan. This is a great song and it deffinately maintains the tradion of Skynyrd while forging a new path toward the future.

.... Everyone in Skynyrd is dead. EVERYONE! So someone please explain why this exists.

Idiot Reviewers. 1. Its spelt Lynyrd Skynyrd thank you. Not Lynrd Skynrd. You cant say nothing if you cant spell the name. 2. It isnt a bunch of randoms. Its Van Zant's brother idiot. He isnt a random dude. This band is amazing. Always has and always will be. Lynyrd Skynyrd is one of the greatest. And this isnt bad at all. Its rather good.

Mmm. I can digg it.. Just open your mind the teensiest bit and you will too ;)

gods and guns. i have been a skynyrd fan all my life.and this is one record worth listening to.the songs really hit home.GODS AND GUNS.need say no more.support southern rock.

Still Unbroken. Country radio's crazy if they don't pick this up. Although Hughie Thomasson wrote this a couple of years ago, it couldn't be more relevant today since so many once and future Skynrd fans are dealing with double digit unemployment and an economy that seems to be only getting worse. All that being said, the song rocks! I'd assume they'll do some kind of edit if it does get any airplay, but I hope they keep that killer solo about 3 minutes into the song..................................

Not just good but great!!. This is a good song, one of their bests. We all can't forget their best sweet home Alabama. This is a close though the guitar catches you in the song, unlike some other songs where you just here the drums and singer. This was 5 star worthy

NOO!. This isnt lynyrd skynyrd this is just a different band that has the same name that took after the orignal band....but still its a good song just not the ones that were famous....

NEW SOUND ROCKS!!!!!. It looks like Lynard Skynards takin a turn to the 21st century. ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovin it Like Mac D's. Why is there so many people hatin this and whinin' about how it aint true skynyrd? SO what if it aint all the same band I think its awesome there trying to at least carry on the name, and hope they keep it up. Plus I love this harder new edgier sound from them. I guess these people are jus tryin to find somethin bad in a good thing, Definatly buy this single. Keep Rockin

give'm a break. This sounds great they have evolved. This is what the orginal would have sounded like by now. its Ronnie's brother Johnny and Ronnie would be proud. that Lynyrd Skynyrd is still around making music .

Full on rocks!. This song just full on rocks! Good mix of attitude and classic Skynyrd sound, nice slide guitar too. Just some kickin' attitude with this one.

awsome. This is not the 1970, the band sounds great it is awsome that they are keeping the memory of the original band alive while still rocking in the 21st century can't wait to get the whole album.

Retire the name already..... Lynyrd Skynyrd ceased to exist on Oct 20th 1977....end of story.Everything since has been a cover band, tribute band and a money maker for mostly those who were never in the band to begin with...which includes Ronnie's widow.Time to let this great band of the "1970's" rest in peace already.

I Can Hardly Wait For The Album. The new single from Lynyrd Skynyrd’s soon to be released album is called “Still Unbroken,” and it is a balls out rocker. When I first cranked it on my stereo I was blown back about five feet. It comes out of the chute kickin’ like a metal song, but this instant classic road song also features some double lead guitar runs reminiscent of The Outlaws or Blackfoot. Of course, with Johnny Van Zant singing it is most definitely a Skynyrd song, and one of the best they have turned out lately. The song comes from the new album God & Guns, to be released September 29th. The album represents the last recorded work by original band member Billy Powell and bassist Ean Evans, both of whom died earlier this year. If the whole album rocks like the single we are in for a real treat. I can hardly wait. Keep it tuned to Swampland for a full review. Keep it Real. Keep it Southern. Buffalo/SWAMPLAND.COM

Hmmm. Good song, but this band needs a different name.... it's not Lynyrd... I don't care what anyone says.

Best to move on.. Jeez, what the heck was that?

This IS NOT Lynyrd Skynyrd!. This is the Gary Rossington Band, or at best the tribute band. Gary is the only one left who spent any time in Skynyrd prior to the plane crash.

It's pretty good!. I don't get why you guys keep complaining that it doesn't sound the same as the old LS. Look, it never will, the original singer is dead. So get over it

Great. Of course its not the real lynyrd skynyrd, but this sound is great! Medlocke is an amazing guitarists, and i dig the modern rock/southern rock fusion sound it has. Great guitar killer song writing, its good enough for me by any means.

Free~. You can get this song free on the lynyrd skynyrd website... Sad iTunes seems to be taking advantage of this.

Through trials and tribulations, and painful deaths.... This band has persevered. They've lost: Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, Allen Collins, Leon Wilkinson, Hughie Thomasson, Billy Powell, and Ean Evans all before their time. Ronnie was, and still is, the greatest lyricist to walk the face of the earth to this day. And even with all those deaths, America's band (and the best band to ever walk the face of the earth) still puts out amazing material. YES, they are America's band. They represent the songs of the hard-working, family-first oriented, caring people who make up the USA. They love their country and love their families...as it SHOULD be. And those Skynyrd "purists" can go crawl in a hole. As Johnny Van Zant said in the song "End of the Road" (1991) - "We know we've got a legacy that's hard to live up to, but there's still reasons why we play these songs for you. It's a family tradition, and as long as we're alive, THAT FREE BIRD KEEPS ON FLYING AND IT NEVER WILL COME DOWN!" They've gotten heavier recently, and with the addition of John5 (Rob Zombie/Marilyn Manson's guitarist) appearance on their new cd "God & Guns" due out Sept. 29, it's bound to kick you in the teeth. This song is no different. Because I am not a fan of those people who state "If you agree click yes" (really, what do you win? Or accomplish?) or those people who rate songs (do I care what your rating is?), all I'll say is, this is definitely worth the $0.99 you'll pay. Take it from a die-hard Skynyrdfan!

Tradition Rolls On.. Skynyrd's first song without Billy Powell and his great piano work. True the band has taken many different shapes over the years, but the music and the messages have remained true to the original band and its reason for being formed in the first place way back when. They love to make music and play from their heart. This song truly proves once again that these guys do just that. Not only do they represent blue collar America. They live it! Never straying to far from their family n the roots of true southern rock. Gary Rossington is one of the greastest songwriters in music and greatly overlooked when the so-called critics rate songwriters. He has written or co-written some of the greatest songs and guitar riffs in rock history. Most music lovers know and have a place for a Skynyrd song somewhere in their life that makes them sing outload when they hear it. Just like Ronnie and the boys wanted so many years ago. The same reason todays band is still playing. Skynyrd fans understand that. You can feel the music in your soul. If you dont get it, then you are really missing out. Once again, great job boys.

Its why theyre one of the greatest. Way to somewhat reinvent themselves. It has a great modern feel but still stays true to classic lynyrd skynyrd. I hope theyre comming out with a full album to back it up. Great song.

Lynyrd Skynyrd are Still Unbroken. Who doesn't love southern rock? I love this song and got it, so glad it's not $1.29...

The Strength of the South. Lynyrd Skynyrd. Are there words to describe such a powerful and influential force of music? They have inspired and influenced not only Southern Rock but the entire genre; whether it be Kid Rock's "All Summer Long", 3 Doors Down, Shinedown, or others, their music has fueled Rock Music. Whether it's a ringtone, movie, or car stereo, Lynyrd Skynyrd can be heard anywhere in the world, and now the release of a new song after so many years leaves us questioning: "Is this for real? Is this the same Skynyrd that we grew up on, heard at footballs games, danced and kissed to?" Immediately, I purchased this song and listened to it again, and again, and again. Not because I was debating if I liked this or not, but because I can't stop plistening to it. I listen to a lot of Southern Rock because I feel like it is the last bit of music in this world that involves hard working musicians giving it their all and playing their hearts and souls through an instrument, and it all comes back to Skynyrd. This is the same Skynyrd that played "Sweet Home Alabama", but they have a newer sound, but still with that hard, Southern edge and incredible lyrics. If you're looking for classic Skynyrd tunes, this is not for you, but you can't deny them the fact that this is an incredible song written by incredible musicians. This is Lynyrd Skynyrd ladies and gentlement, and they're back to rock. (Oh and this IS the real Lynyrd Skynyrd from back in the day minus a few musicians that died...check the website if you doubt me)

100% Skynrd, 100% Great. These old Southern Boys still know how to throw it down and show us all how it's done and what it means to be Southern Rock. The heart, the soul, the feeling it's all still. Thank you guys for continuing to fly the flag with pride!

Underappreceated.. What a great band.

good. pretty good song.... not as good as the class skynard but still great. sounds alttle more rock then southern rock but im not one to critisize the south im from jersey. looking forward to the whole album

Very Good Single, Can't Wait For The Album!. Im not the kind of person that typically listens to southern rock, but for some reason this song really connected with me. The vocals are great all around, and the song has a cool, old fashioned feel while still using many contemporary elements as well. If someone like me, a hard rock/metal fan, can enjoy this single, I dont see why anybody else can't like it as well. It gets a thumbs up from me, I'm looking forward to the release of the new album on 9/29. Keep rocking Skynyrd!

Not the same.. Only Gary Rossington is left. This isn't Lynyrd Skynyrd!!!! This a bunch of random musicians featuring Gary Rossington, and he NEEDS the rest of the band because this is no good

Good. Way to go Skynyrd!

Still Unbroken. Describes Skynyrd. After all the mad fans Bull they're Still Unbroken. I love it. But i do think Simple Life is better. I've heard the full God & Guns album. It's great sounds like a Classic Skynyrd in a modern form :) i can't believe all the haters writing stuff online "THIS ISNT SKYNYRD NU NU NU" whatever don't listen to them then and don't come posting on their music page. THis is Skynyrd, this is damn good period.

Good. This sounds pretty good.Yes the old stuff is awesome and it always will be nut the new is good too. For example some semi new albums for skynyrd include then and now, vicious cycle, extended versions... And they're all good. Can't wait till the new album comes out!

New Southern Rock. This song in my opinion is the best song they have put out in the last 20 years. Since the album "Twenty" their modern stuff keeps getting better and better. "Still Unbroken" has got a great hard rock edge with a meaningful message that really rings true in so many ways. If this is the direction the new Lynyrd Skynyrd is headed in, then I can't wait for the whole album in September. This is a song that the brothers and sisters in rock and roll heaven would be proud of.

For what it is. I like it. Who cares who's in the band or what they did before. Like this one for what it is.

This song is awsome.. this song is great. buy it. you well love it.

Not lynyrd skynyrd. This isn't Lynyrd Skynyrd. It's some lousy musicians playing with Gary Rossington. Gary is the only real member of Lynyrd Skynyrd and sort of Rickey Medlocke. They should just give up playing as Lynyrd Skynyrd. Would the real Lynyrd Skynyrd be opening up for kid rock? Seriously WTF?!

?. How is this skynyrd this sounds nothing like them an most of the band is already dead this is garbage if u want good skynyrd buy one mote from the road that is lynyrd skynyrd not this crap here

Bring on the new album!!. I will admit there is a severe difference in sound if you look at 'Still Unbroken" and, say, "Down South Jukin'", but you have to admire the effort and their strong will to keep the idea & sound of skynyrd alive. An idea that is so simple, yet so awesome. I say we don't criticize to much, and we sit back & SUPPORT SOUTHERN ROCK!!!

Lynyrd Skynyrd. Still Unbroken and still rocking. Looking forward to the new album. I've been a fan for over 30 years. RIP Billy.

I am kinda shocked. I did not expect to like this song for one reason, it was not from the original singer. But after I listened to the whole thing I realized this is a really great song with alot of meaning. I think it's a buy.

Not really Skynyrd. Granted the song isn't bad, it isn't true Skynyrd. It doesn't have the same feel. They can't bring back the dead, and they really shouldn't try. This is more like new country rather than southern rock.

New Skynyrd Classic. I was in high school when the plane went down. At the time the only Skynyrd I really knew was One More from the Road and the Sweet Home Alabama single... The greatest live album of all time. And Skynyrd is the greatest tock & roll band EVER in my opinion. And Still Unbroken, for guys my age, is the perfect anthem. We might be old, but we're still unbroken. Who doesn't wish Ronnie was still alive? But Johnny has carried the torch with honor and Van Zant swagger and though there's been a revolving cast of characters, the band has produced Lynyrd Skynyrd music that Ronnie would be proud of. Is there anyone who doesn't think he's looking down with noting but pride about what HIS band has done since he left us? The band has stayed true to the Skynyrd values and produced a lot of great tunes since they reunited - and Johnny has honored his brother in doing so... and this song is jut one example - and the same can be said for Simple Life. I can't wait for the new CD and hope Johnny and Gary keep on keeping on til I'm in the old folks home ;)

Same band, new members. This is a legacy band, if you can't accept the fact that when people die they get replaced then you won't like this band anymore. Freebird!

Fly High Freebird. this band has stood the test of time and always will, they truly are and will always be the best rock n roll band EVER

Still Unbroken. This does not sound like the original Skynyrd but it is a really good song. Great tone and arrangement! I really like it and if the whole album is this good it'll intorduce a whole nother group of kids to Lynyrd Skynyrd. Overall I really think Van Zant & Company did a great job here with this one. Keep Rockin!!!!!!!!

Well worth the wait. Can't wait for the rest of the Album!
