1 OF THE BEST YANNI ALBUMS TO DATE!!!!. This is such an awesome album. I have owned this exact album on cassette and CD and have worn both versions out completely. I was so glad that iTunes has finally made this one available. If you are a Yanni fan, you will definitely want this as part of your collection. This is a upbeat album. My favorite songs are: 1)Santorini (a classic Yanni Song that I will never get tired of) 2)Standing in Motion (another classic!) 3)Sand Dance (Awesome Song!) 4)Song for Antarctica (a beautiful song with beautiful melodies) The next Yanni album that I recommend is "Devotion" which is a greatest hits collection. If you don't already have Ultimate Yanni & Live at the Acropolis then you should definitely check those out as well. Yanni is a master at music. You will definitely not be disappointed. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!

Mixed variety of musical styles, like a Japanese Role-Playing Game. A past friend exposed me to this album's music in the 1990s, but he didn't tell me it was Yanni. He said it was music from a Japanese role-playing game like Final Fantasy or a PC Engine/TurboGrafx CD role-playing game. I thought this music was great, and once I found out the music was actually Yanni's, I was pleasantly surprised this was classfied as New Age music. At the time, most of the New Age music I heard was very soft, soothing, and relaxing. This album's song carries a variety of music styles, much like Japanese role-playing game music. For example, "Walkabout" totally sounds like music you would hear traversing the world by foot. "Song for Antarctica" could easily fit into a game's ice world. "Someday," with its watery sound effect at the beginning and piano and organ effects throughout, could be music played while you travel on water or underwater. Anyway, even if you don't care about role-playing game music, this album certainly was a different kind of New Age music of that time. This is a definitely a solid album. There is one flaw to this album: "Santorini" has a audio "skip" at around the 00:12 mark, but it can only be heard on headphones. I listened to another Yanni album that had "Santorini," and that "skip" was not present.
