Classic 90's R n' B. I loved this album back in 1993. I bought it for the few hits that came out of it, but I ended up really enjoying the whole album and would listen all the way through many times over. Nice to hear these songs again after so many years have gone by.

Before my Time. I wasn't born until 94, but music these don't attach to me, I'm one who loves everything from the 90's and before. That before my time type of music, which people say everytime. I tell them the artisits I love to listen to. This is R&B not that lust filled people sell now off of every song.

Bobby Bee on Toni Braxton the Artist & The CD. the CD of 1993!!! Her earthy, what?, contralto?? was unmatched until anita came on the set. And the CD??? Yea, BREATHE ----AGAIN!!!! 2 Years on the charts!!

Twice the First Time. This poetic masterpiece has so many underrated songs that, for some strange reason, didn’t get much fanfare. As is the case with many musicians, much of their music just isn’t properly promoted. Toni Braxton’s Grammy winning self titled debut album: Best new artist, is a quintessential bombshell. Sure, she had won 2 additional Grammys for: “Another Sad Love Song,” and “Breathe Again.” However, the ballad, “Candlelight” is purely mesmerizing... The snazzy hit “Love Affair” allows Toni to flaunt her acrobatic vocal cords... And, the spunky track “Spending My Time With You” had announced that, indeed, a new phenom had arrived.

Fabulous!!. I never tire of hearing Toni sing, either the old songs on this album, the newest ones, or the ones in between. She has had some health problems lately, from what I hear, but she is set to make a comeback with a new album coming out soon. I love all of the songs on this album, but one really stands out above the rest: "Best Friend". It never got much attention at the time, and she never made it into a music video, but I think it is one of her best songs of all time. I think it would be neat if Toni were to re-record that song and also make it into a music video.

Holds up today like the tallest candle on the market.. This album sounds better than 99% of the music playing on my local stations. Excellent and timeless music. Toni Rocks.

Best Toni Braxton Album. This is Toni Braxton's BEST ALBUM!! This is the only album of hers that I have ever purchased and was disappointed in all of her others after. I remember when Boomerang came out when I was 12 years old and I bought this album from Sam Goody record store.

A Great start for Toni B.. This is truly a great album by Toni Braxton. I enjoy this whole CD and it's a great start for such a talented female Soul And R&B singer. Her voice is so smooth and sexy. Keep an eye out for her new album, Pulse!!! Go Toni!!!

classic toni. this is toni braxton at her best with wonderful hits like these, it makes you remember why she is the diva she is.

Her best album.. She was like a mix of Anita Baker and Whitney Houston,Anita type vocals,with Whitney's type of catchy songs. The productions are perfection,the melodies are amazing. this was before she was into that super deep breathey mumbling type vocals,which i think sometimes sounded kind of stupid. there isnt a bad song on the album!

R&B at its best!. This album was the very first (ENTIRE) album that I learned as a child. It easily became my very first favorite R&B cd. Even as a child I was able to relate to the heartbreak songs of missing someone. And the fun loving jams of just enjoying love & life.
