Cross between..... When I listen to this album I imagine a cross between Joe Jackson "Live" song arrangements and the synchopated rhyming mechanix of Eminem [in poetic way]. There is nothing better than a well mixed live album [like this one] to give one the feeling of being there. Every cut adds to a great album, but my absolute favorite cut: Common Pleasure. Other 5 Star cuts for me are: Not So Usual, You and I Both, & Unfold

Jason Mraz Live at the Eagles Ballroom. I received Mr.A-Z in December and in January I had to have more of Jason's music. His voice is incredible. The music and the lyrics and the stories he tells are so emotional and poetic and they have just drawn me in. The live CD/DVD shows so much more of who Jason is. He is soft spoken and gentle; serious yet funloving; kindhearted and respectful; considerate and patient-this is what you see of him off stage. On stage he is amazing! He is alive, soulful, playful, jazzy. He is great with his band and with the audience! I have listened to this cd nonstop since January and still can't get enough! I am determined to see him live when he comes back to the states. Buy this CD, you won't be disappointed!

Yeah,. this may be the best live cd ever. I have listened to Jason Mraz's studio albums and loved them, but just recently I found this album and I love love love it! So much better than his studio albums. I don't think I will ever be able to listen to another studio album by him again. Which I think that is a good thing?

Worthy. This CD was my first Jason Mraz CD. He sounds AMAZING live. Much better live than recorded on albums, because he doesn't hold back as much, letting lose, showing his talent in amazing ways. This is definitely worth buying. It remains one of my favorite albums.

absolutely incredible. Jason Mraz is hands down the best live performer I've ever heard. His live stuff is even better than his recorded albums at times. This CD epitomizes his gift of live music. Incredible vocals, great band. This is by far my favorite of all his albums, and I would tell anyone to buy it, and then to go see him live. Its an experience you won't soon forget.

My favorite album of all time. This is my favorite album in my 20-odd years of listening to music. More than any of Jason Mraz's CDs, this live album brings an energy that just can't be replicated in a studio setting. An energetic, beautiful, creative, exciting listen. 5 years counting and I still smile every time I listen to the album.

Tonight, Definately Again.... I have been a fan of Jason Mraz for a few years now, and I love how all of his pieces sound unique and are continuously catchy. I have yet to buy one of his albums that I do not like, including this one. This particular album has such a nice collague of pieces, and even though this is a live album his voice still has that pure and distinctive tone and impressive guitar skills, proving him to be a true artist. If you do not own this album it is definately a unique one that should definately be added to your collection, whether it is your first Jason Mraz album, or one of many.

Beautiful voice, wonderful album. After hearing "I'm Yours" I looked up more of Jason Mraz's music and was absolutely blown away. Even the lowest points on this album are well worth listening to. "Sleeping to Dream" is one of the most lovely songs I've ever heard, and the lyrics are touching. Definitely worth the money.

This really deserves more than 5 stars!. Mraz is very underrated. He is amazing - on recourd and live. Live, he is absolutly genius. He can improvise SO WELL! He really has a glowing energy, and to see him live is such a privalege because he is so talented and gifted. He is nothing short of spectacular. If i could, I would eleborate, but no words can describe the amount of talent he possesses. And if i could, I would buy all his music, because all of his songs, live or on recourd, are worth every penny you pay.

the best live album i own. Strange that there is a reference to O.A.R. in the review because theirs would be my runner up, but this is a wonderful album that beginning to end is enjoyable. I prefer live a lot of times, but he shows so much range that even my mother enjoys this album, and most of his best songs are on this album. Unfold is genius in my opinion, how do these artists so it, I envy his mind!

Better Live than ever. Jason Mraz's skills can not be justified with his studio recordings. Only in this live performance can capture him in concert and display his full talent.

An angel's voice. I fell in love with Jason's voice the first time I heard it - if angels sing, this is what they must sound like. He has an amazing talent that will move and transcend you - he is unbelievable. Sleeping to dream and unfold are beautiful... buy this album and every album he has made - you will not be disappointed. Please continue making great music Jason.

Insanely Good. This is, in my opinion, Jason Mraz's best album. Even though he is good in the studio, when he plays live he gets 100x better. OK, so 100x might be an exaggeration. More like 90x better. Yeah, thats about right. Also, there are some songs that he wrote before his signing that he absolutely won't record in a studio, but he plays them live. He also puts different spins on and occasionally plays with the lyrics of his studio songs, So, for all ya people who wanna hear the "real" jason mraz, check out his live stuff, from his first "Live At Java Joes" to the upcoming iTunes exclusive thing.

Amazing!!!!. This is an awesome CD there a lot of new Mraz songs and some from previos Cds but its worth the live performance! I truly admire Jason Mraz for his music he is the best singer/songwriter I have ever heard! Love ya Jason! :)

I may be old but I'm not dead..... This kid makes me want to be young again. His music moves and energies me and he's as cute as can be. I just adore watching Jason on his DVD and wish him and his group much sucess. They deserve it.

Authentic and Uplifting. Just re-discovered this album, it’s a great listen from beginning to end…gotta love how Jason Mraz has stayed true to his artistic gifts and hasn’t strayed too far after all of these years. The contrast in the album review is a bit off about being the anti-John Mayer…sure, they are both singer-songwriters, but both bring something to the table a bit different…I contrast Jason to someone like Bruno Mars who has essentially ridden Mraz’ coat-tails and figured out how to commercialize it, but churns out truly horrible music (and “writes” even more horrible music for others, if you can call it that) and gets way too much artistic credit than he deserves… In ten years, we’ll still be talking about Jason Mraz…Bruno Mars, yeah, not so much...

Fantastic cd... even better concert!!!. I was lucky enough to be at the concert at the Eagles Ballroom (the Rave) the night this disc was recorded... Jason is AMAZING!!! One of the best live performance discs ever!!!

Love, Love, Love this album!. Personally, I would save your money and go and get the actual CD/DVD set because on the DVD you can actually watch the concert being performed which is just AWESOME! I love Jason Mraz's music and this CD features one of my favorite songs, "1000 Things" this is, with out a doubt, one of my top 10 favorite albums!

Jason Mraz is under-rated. Lyrical poet. Musical brilliance. Magician captivating audiences with a true live performance sans lip synching and other common faux pauxs of young artists today. Jason Mraz is truly an artist who has flown under the radar for too long. Although pop songs receiving air play adhere to the three minute, thirty second time frame as well as a catchy albeit unmemorable tune, songs by Jason Mraz provide a musical orgasm in addition to a lyrical high for intelligent audiences craving something more substantial in their musical fortes. If only Jason Mraz could be marketed better, people may realize the brilliance of his latest cd in addition to his live performances which are truly an experience that cannot be fully described in any use of adverbs adjectives or dang ling participles. Do not judge until you hear his voice and improv of his live performance. Keep on keeping on J-Raz.

I LOVE JASON MRAZ. This is an AMAZING collection of his music!!! He is such an amazing artist and I believe that he is great live! My personal favorite is Sleeping to Dream which is AWSOME :) It's worth the money!

WOW.. I love almost all of his songs on this album, which is quite rare. BUY THIS CD! But if you can only buy a couple of songs, 1000 things, You and I both, Sleeping to dream, curbside prophet, and Unfold are really good.

Jason Mraz is at his best LIVE. It's always great when an artist will let you into their concert persona by putting out a live album. The best part of this album is that Mraz really comes through with something cool that has a different feel than the album versions of his original tracks. Jason is amazing in concert becuase he jams, does covers, and mixes it up on old favorites. This album not only captures his great songwriting but it shows off his talents as a musician. After listening to this album, you'll want to go buy tickets to his concert because you know the music sounds good and it also sounds like he and the crowd are having a blast! If you are buying just one Jason Mraz album, this is the one to get..it is by far his best!!

Jason Mraz Live. My teenage daughter brought Jason Mraz' first album home several ago and I was hooked. His complex lyrics, unique style and genuine love of music rings true on everything he does. In the new age of creating playlists, here's an artist to listen to from to beginning to the end of his CDs and then start them all over again. There's always something new to be found. Hours of pleasure is what he brings. Bravo!

Original. I remember the first time I heard his beautiful voice. It was amazing and exillerating. I love how he stuck true to himself and he didn't change just because someone didn't like it, he's a true artist. A Grammy worthy artist

Sleeping To Dream!!!! You have to buy it!!!. Jason Mraz is really good.. My favorite song is defiantly Sleeping To Dream. Its a must buy.

Great!!!!. I love this CD, his absolute best song is Sleeping to Dream, it' my all-time favorite song. Other favorites of course are Remedy, You and I Both, and After an Afternoon.

Crazy Good!. Mraz is one of the few artists that sound way better live than in studio! he changes alot in a live show. it proves that he is a true artist!

One of the great performers. You've got to love it when an artist kicks his music up a few notches for a live performance. the radio can spread your music around but you will win the love of your audience in the live performance venue. mraz does just that here. he tweaks his songs to make them interesting and get you to love him more than you realized you did. another great live band out there is Holding Out. if you see they will be playing in your area, (Portland, Oregon) go check them out, you'll be glad you did.

"Wordplay". Have you ever loved a singer/songwriters voice so much that you went to see their concert and it just didn't sound as good as they usually do on CD? Well Tonight, Not Again is NOT one of those dissapointments. Jason Mraz is a wonderful live performer. He has spunk and is overall charming. His voice just flows along with the music played by his awesome band. Listen to a couple of his songs. I love this CD, but i suggest you don't buy it off of ITunes. The CD/DVD version (which you can get at Borders for sure.) is much much better. Me and my friends all LOVED the DVD. So, I hope you enjoy his melodic voice along with the band. Dream on-Cleo

pure talent. i live in minneapolis and i heard about this show. it was only a 5 hour drive so i hopped in the car. it was an amazing show. and the eagles ball room is a unreal place to see a show. then they made it into CD. wow!!

Good live album. This is a great live album, a good filler for Mraz fans. The best tracks are "Not So Usual" and "No Doubling Back." It's nice to have these previously non-album tracks featured. Also, there are great extended versions of "Curbside Prophet" and "Tonight, Not Again." (I like these live versions better than the studio versions off "Waiting for My Rocket to Come."

Fun Album. If there is one thing Jason Mraz is, it is fun. His live album accompanies this side of his music very well. I recomend this CD to anyone who enjoys a good jam.

Unrecognized Talent. Man what a great artist this guy is! i can't believe he's only on hit in canada! I mean he's got great lyrics, writes his own music AND is a great live singer!! All his CDs are musts have! He's one of my favorite thats for sure ^^

An unmissable album. Mraz is just wonderful. After seeing him live twice last year i decided to get my hands on this live album already owning more or less everything else he's done from The cutting room floor right to MR-AZ. I LOVE this album - definitely my favourite. It captures his humour and rapport with the audience aswell as his unbelievable voice. My fave tracks are 1000 things and No stopping us although it's really hard to pick. If you're a fan and you dont already own it - BUY IT even though you'll probably have the album versions already. If you're not yet then BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT! He really is aMRAZing!

What a fresh talent. Jason Mraz, what a fresh talent, serious break from the norm..! I also first saw him as Tracey Chapmans support and followed him from there, seen him twice in London, one gig near shepards bush we were cross legged on the floor! seek out Live @ Java Joes for a real acoustic treat..

Get The DVD Also. . .. I Really Like everything Mraz does, and this is one of the best examples of his great live performances. I recently bought the DVD version for the same price as this audio version and i'd reccomend that first. But whatever you do Buy alteast ONE Version, you'll love it!

He's a curbside prophet. I was first introduced to Jason at a Tracy Chapman gig in Liverpool years ago. He was her support band and completely wiped the floor with her... He is amazing! Particularly live! He normally plays acoustically or with Toca Rivera. This album is his first venture with a 'band' sound and it is just superb. He is so spontaneous and a delight to see and hear. If you get the opportunity, download from America "Live at Java Joes". It's an acoustic set recorded from the soundboard.... just superb!!! If you can't find it, you will get it on his website.

One of the best live albums I've heard. Superb live album, from a fantastic songwriter, with a beautiful, pure voice. A great array of songs from his early career. This album becomes more special when you hear how much more emotional and involving songs like "Absolutely Zero" and "Sleeping To Dream" are performed live by Jason than they are on the studio albums. Also check out his Geeking Out The Galaxy albums for fantastic live versions of "Mr Curiosity" and "On Love, In Sadness" - a brilliant live performer - the DVD of this concert is incredible too.

love love love it. I only just bought this album yesterday and i haven't been able to stop playing it its so good, and it gets even better with every listen - if thats even possible. The tone of his voice is so subtle and yet so amazing, especially on live stuff. My favourites are; not so usual, no doubling back, you and i both, absolutely zero, curbside prophet and most of all sleeping to dream.
