Another Great EP. Leave before the lights come on is delicious, put your dukes up john is eh, kinda lame and bland. It had no flavor.Baby im yours is a cover, keep tht in mind, they did a great job on doing it. I was glad to hear a different type of music from the Arctic Monkeys.

WOW. The arctic monkeys definiteley sound similar to the beatles..i am a little disappointed with this album though, it does not compare to the other one..fake tales of sanfransisco's my fave...buy it!!!

Alex Turner is my Idol. I LOVE THE ARCTIC MONKEYS!! So it's no surprise that I would love this mini album. The price is a little pricey though I bought it at Record and Tape traders for cheaper but still if you love the monkeys or just Alex then definatly buy it.

The Hype is Nothing. The Band, However, Is Not.. In a world where artists like Usher and 50 Cent rule, it's good to see that at least one band captures the image of suburban life and romance. With loads of depth and meaning jam packed into 3 minutes and 52 seconds, I will say that this is their best single yet and anyone can relate to it. Truly the Arctic Monkeys will define this generation and will be remembered for years to come. I noticed they're growing as musicians, and Andy Nicholson's final bass part with the Arctic Monkeys is impressive compared to his previous work. All in all, you want this. Buy it now.

It should be called 'Put Your Dukes Up John'.. Eh, Leave before the Lights come on is just an okay song. The real deal on this CD is Put your Dukes up John. It just really gets me going! Like seriously, if you can only download one track off this, make it Track 2!!!!!!

It's about time.. This took way too long to finally show up on iTunes. However, for everyone who uses iTunes as a primary music source, it's worth the wait. For the cheap price of this EP, the listener gets three great songs that prove why the Arctic Monkeys cause as much of a stir as they do. "Leave" is a great, fairly moving song, without dragging the pace much at all. "Dukes" is another fine tune, with a bit more pep to it, recalling memories of those first few EPs when the world got to sample their sound; but, at the same time, has moved forward, with better sound, organization, and so on. "Baby" is, well...different. Good, but most assuredly completely different from any other song AM have put out to date. A fine buy, and a nice way to tide over to the next full album.

they didn't live up to the hype, but they sure lived up to somyhting. There was alot of preaure on arctic monkeys and they deffinetly arn't the new beatles. however, they are an AMAZING BAND and i love them. bravo

Leave Before The Lights Come On - Finally in the US. Another great release from the mega-popular British band, the Arctic Monkeys. Leave Before the Lights Come On is a great track, Put Your Dukes Up John is not great but still a good cover, and Baby I'm Yours nice take on a 60's song. If you notice the voice in the background on Baby I'm Yours that doesn't belong to Alex Turner, that's because that song was created with the help of The 747's, another English group. Another great release from the Arctic Monkeys, though not as good as some of their other material, I only wish iTunes had got it earlier so I didn't have to buy from another site.

Oh BABY!. Absolutly AMAZING! I've been a fan of Arctic since their official debut CD, but after hearing the 30 sec. clip of Baby I'm Yours, I fell in love. Alex Turner's voice is perfect for the song and cover sounds perfect and better than the original. Everyone should purchase this album, whether hard core Arctic fans or beginners- everyone will enjoy this EP.

Buy It For The B-Sides. Baby I'm Yours is alone almost worth the purchase, it's chill, retro vibe is a testimony to the raw talent of these young guys. It's throw back sound and feeling speak volumes for the ease that these young musicians have in writing songs, at this point in their career it would be bold enough to say that almost anything they come up with can be released and still be heads and shoulders above some of the more contrived stuff out there. Put your Dukes Up John a punk/retro jab. Leave Before the Lights Come is the A-side and the other 2, B-sides. This time around you get your money's worth.

Put the Little Flames on iTunes!!!!!!!. yea yea, this EP is brilliant and amazing and all that, but this is the ONLY Little Flames song I can get. I know they didn't really release a real album, but their singles are truly great, and you can't find them in many other places. If listeners like this cover version so much, shouldn't they be allowed to buy the original????

Great song. Leave Before the Lights Come On is an Arctic Monkeys classic. The two other songs are great too, nothing but great stuff from the Arctic Monkeys. Baby I'm Yours sounds like a Brian Wilson Beach Boys arrangement.

Astounding album. With the use of the ingenius creativity, the Artic Monkeys continue to produce amazing music with a new direction. It's imperitave to anyones music library. It's simply a must have becasue no other band will match the versatlity and energy founf in this EP. You'll love it!

Fans???. Wow, I'm truly astounded at the number of people that didn't know that "Put Your Dukes Up John," and "Baby I'm Yours" were covers. Also, at the number of people that called this an EP. Singles are allowed to have, and your most recent singles have, three songs. Do your research, then you can call yourselves fans.

Woah.... Leave Before the Lights Come On (has a great music video, you should check it out) and Put Your Dukes Up John are exactly the kind of sound I'd expect from these guys, but Baby I'm Yours comes way out of left field. It's so sweet. It doesn't sound like AM at all, but I still like it.

Not too bad. About time itunes U.S.A added this ep , well anyways on with my review. Sure the Arctic Monkeys are overhyped but they're actually quite good and in the future their sound might mature. case in point leave before the lights come on its a really a good song . Ive listened to it almost 100 times and im still not bored. Their cover of barbara streisand's baby im yours is quite lovely. Als voice sounds really great here. As for put your dukes up John cover its okay but nothing special. It just dosnt make it for me.

Not Bad. The Arctic Monkeys keep their indie sound for this one. Sounds like it was produced and edited a little better. They even do a Beach Boys-esque thing on "Baby I'm Yours." Pretty Sweet!

They have done it again.. damn, they have done it yet again. I saw these guys in Baltimore and they were better live then in studio. This album is worth the money, with a new album coming in late January/ early Febuary, the sound on this EP is making the wait that much harder. Please support this band becuase they are the freshest sound to come along since Green Day/ Dookie. What a band...

Signs of great new songs to come from the arctic monkeys. I love the arctic monkeys and " Leave Before the Lights Come On" is awesome too excpt for the last one "Baby I'm Yours" doesnt seem like an arctic monkeys song, they're more about the high energy, feel good music, i still like it but it doesnt seem like them, maybe they're just trying to experiment

Very Good. First of all, this isn't an EP, it's a single. "Leave Before the Lights Come On" is the A-side, with the other two songs being B-sides. The A-side itself is definitely a change in the Arctic Monkey's style. It's a much more subdued song musically compared to their more anthemetic pieces, such as "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor." The music is more planned here, as opposed to the old style of one or two riffs repeated (I'm not saying the old way was bad; they were good riffs). Not for the lyrics, which are always the best parts of Artic Monkeys songs. They're great again. This time, Alex Turner has written a much more lamenting piece. The topic of the song is one night stands, and "leaving before the lights come on." He makes the very valid point that "it's always hard in the morning." And he's the most poignant at his least eloquent. "How can you wake up / with someone you don't love / and not feel slightly fazed by it?" Now for the B-sides, which are both covers. The first one, "Put Your Dukes Up John," is a Little Flames cover, and where the single falls short. It's not an interesting song. It's an average anthemetic rock song. There's nothing more to say. As for "Baby I'm Yours," a Barbara Lewis cover, the Monkeys have outdone themselves. It's a simple, yet powerful and endearing love song in the theme of a 50s slow dance doo-oppy tune. But what makes it shine is that it's the first song ever where Alex Turner may be actually singing. Instead of falling back on just having a good voice, he breaks into a diaphragm-and-all voice that's beautiful. Or, it may be possible that it's someone else singing, since this song was done as a callaboration with the 747s. But this is definitely a great single, or EP, as iTunes wants you to think. It's definitely a step above "Who the F**k's Arctic Monkeys?"

Great song, error lies in release. This is a truly excellent record, following in the deeply trudged footsteps of "Dancefloor" and "sun goes down". It's their first release without bassist Andy Nicholson, although it is the final record where he plays. The song does have a final feel to it. The covers are certainly a welcome way to spice up the AM catalogue. My biggest problem here is the release date. The song was released in Britain in mid-August, and it should not take two months to reach America.

AWESOME!!!. Arctic Monkeys are one of the best bands out right now! Though all three songs are great, I recommend "Put Your Dukes Up John".

I HEART ARCTIC MONKEYS. ARCTIC MONKEYS have done it again!!! I LOVE THEM SOO MUCH!!! They are the best band ever and they've continued their great music with "Leave Before the Lights Come On." I am however a little disappointed since they made a remake, but "Baby I'm Yours" still sounds FANTASTIC!!! YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS ALBUM! Also check out ALL of their songs and videos. Well done boys. I somehow came into possesion of these songs a while ago and I have been thrilled with them. Baby I'm Yours is a great little ballad and it shows that these guys have a bit of depth to them outside of telling us how good we probably look on a dance floor. Great 3-set of songs. Definately purchase or get these songs somehow. Essentials for the Arctic Monkeys collection.

Best cover ever. I got married 3 years ago and that's about the time I got into AM. I was looking for a wedding song and came across the Baby I'm yours cover and instantly knew it was our song. Everybody loved it just as much as my wife and I did! I'll listen to AM till I die.
