Shortly after tweeting this, he quickly deleted it, however, Your Rap News managed to screenshot it and reposted it. The tweet stated: "What It Means To Be King 👑… 2/?/22" @KingVonFrmdaWic On February 4, 2022, the lead single “Don’t Play That” with 21 Savage was released. By promoting the song on YNW Melly’s Instagram, it was announced that the album would be released on March 4, 2022. On February 28, 2022, the official album cover was announced alongside a pre-save link via Twitter. It was shown on Apple Music that the album would feature a total of nineteen songs with “Don’t Play That” as the fourth track. The album’s final single, “War” was released just two days prior to the album on March 2, 2022.
