Childhood favorite. I love this album because she puts so much of her own expression into every song, while still managing to keep the authenticity of each song. Every year after Thanksgiving my mom would pull out all our Christmas tapes and CD's and Dolly's was my absolute favorite. When I hear this album, it makes me smile and reminds me of driving around town in the snow, looking at Christmas lights, and listening to Dolly Parton's Christmas album with my family. I love it!

Home for Christmas. Can’t have Christmas without this album. “Go Tell it on the Mountain” is so full of love and energy, it puts us all in the Christmas spirit! JKH from SINY

I LOVE DOLLY!. I live where she was born, and i love her voice! she's a mountain girl just like me, I LOVE this album.

Hate this. Hate the album that dolly made hate it

Love I’ll be home for Christmas. This is actually good country. Unlike Luke Bryan, Dolly sings with her heart and soul. I listen to this every Christmas!! Dolly was born to sing country music. Luke Bryan just says words and it’s all about the same things. Dollys lyrics are so well put together!!!

Home For Christmas. This second holiday cd from Dolly isn't bad really, instead of writing and producing originals like her first holiday offering featuring Kenny Rogers Dolly chooses traditional songs and injects some personal thoughts into the songs and her spoken words tend to sound a bit like "sermonetts." Indeed this may have been intended as a concept album of sorts given the album title since Dolly is from a small town and the opening lines of the first song features a pastor instructing his congregation to open their hymnals. There is some slickness to the production and the "twang" turned down a bit but this cd is still enjoyable. My personal favorite is "We Three Kings" featuing keyboards and Banjo, but listen for a Dulcimer.

Voice of an angel. As always, Dolly sings these songs wonderfully. It's a great album and a "must" for Christmas!

It's splendid. Loved it
